Users can now approve workflows or view information of sent-back workflows on the Latest Home Page.

Users can approve Employee Central workflows directly from cards in the Approvals section, with or
without adding comments. Choosing the View Details link opens a workflow details page where they can
review the full details, or delegate, send back, or decline a workflow. Note that if users are not allowed to
do quick approvals, they'll have to use this link to approve their workflows. For sent-back workflows, users
view their basic information on a different type of cards in the For You Today section. They can choose
Review and Update on the cards to open a workflow details page where they can make changes and
resubmit workflows.

Home page users want their most urgent, pending tasks to appear on the home page. These new cards give
them immediate access to workflows that need their attention and ensure important requests are
processed promptly.

SAP added more to-do tasks to the Latest Home Page, from across the SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite.
To-do tasks requesting your approval of something appear in the Approvals section. Other to-do tasks
appear in the For You Today section. You can enable to-do tasks on the Latest Home Page in the Upgrade
Center.

Note

• When you enable to-do tasks on the Latest Home Page, only tasks that were created or modified in the
past 90 days are migrated to the home page. Learning assignments are an exception. All pending
learning assignments in the past 5 years are migrated.
• Not all tasks listed here are available on Mobile Applications. Some of them don't apply to the mobile
experience and others may be considered for a future release.

Remember

When to-do tasks aren't available on the home page, you can still see them in the page header, using the
(alert) icon and To Do List side panel.

SAP has added more quick actions to the Latest Home Page.

Quick actions are visible based on role-based permission and system configuration. If configured in the
system and relevant to a person's role, the following quick actions are now available:

• My Team quick action enables managers to review information about their team of direct reports and
take necessary action.
• Clock Time quick action enables you to clock in and clock out.
• Complete Payroll Tasks quick action takes you to your payroll tasks. It enables you to view the list of
employee events and the corresponding infotypes that should be updated or maintained for payroll
requirements. You can view task details and set the status of the payroll tasks.
• Delegate Workflows quick action enables you to assign a delegatee to process your workflows during a
specified period.
• My Profile quick action takes you to your People Profile.
• Org Chart quick action takes you to the company organization chart.
• View Admin Alerts quick action takes you to Admin Alerts.
• View Team Absences quick action takes you to the absence calendar for your team.

SAP also increased the maximum number of quick actions that are visible on your home page from 8 to 16.

Users can now respond to workflow auto-delegation requests and get notified of ongoing or upcoming
delegations on the Latest Home Page.

If the option Allow Delegatees to Accept or Reject a Workflow Delegation Request in Admin Center →
Company System and Logo Settings is selected, users now see a Workflow Delegation Request card that
appears in the For You Today section when such a request is coming their way. They can use this card to
accept or reject an auto-delegation request. If the option is deselected so users are not required to accept
or reject such requests by themselves, the requests are accepted automatically. Regardless of whether the
option is selected, users are reminded by an Upcoming Delegation card of an ongoing or upcoming
delegation. These reminders can be dismissed for a short period or permanently.

Home page users want their most urgent, pending tasks to appear on the home page. These new cards
offer an improved way for them to access and respond to delegation requests and plan their daily work.

You can now approve changes to business processes based on MDF objects using the MDF workflow tasks
on the Latest Home Page. These approval requests are available in SAP Task Center as well.

You can approve the following workflows directly from cards in the Approvals section, with or without
adding comments. Choosing the View Details link opens a workflow details page where they can review
the full details, or delegate, send back, or decline a workflow. Note that if users aren’t allowed to do quick
approvals, they have to use this link to approve their workflows. For sent-back workflows, users view their
basic information on a different type of cards in the For You Today section. They can choose Review and
Update on the cards to open a workflow details page where they can make changes and resubmit
workflows. The following approval workflows that are generated from changes made to MDF objects show
up as MDF workflow tasks on the Latest Home Page:

new job profiles or edits made to existing job profiles.

Job profiles changes may or may not have a workflow associated with them. If you create or edit job
profiles with workflow you now see these approval tasks on your Latest Home Page.

Customers requested this capability on the Latest Home Page. In the current version, find your Job Profile
card under Approvals on the Latest Home Page.

This offers managers a more organized view of the forms that require their review.

Calibration reviewers can now view the Complete Calibration to-do task in the For You Today section on
the latest home page.

Through the task, reviewers can go directly to their sessions that are in progress to view or give ratings.
When a reviewer has multiple sessions, the sessions are ordered by the due date and the one of the most
urgency, which is overdue the longest or closest to the due date, is displayed. The user can then choose Go
to Session to view this particular session or click View All to display all sessions.

In addition, the task also displays the reviewer’s specific role in a calibration session.

The task provides calibration reviewers a quick access to their sessions.

SAP has added several features that make the Latest Home Page more helpful for managers.

• The My Team quick action enables you to review information about your team and take necessary
action. You can:

▪ See information about each team member (direct report), such as recent activities and
achievements, key competencies, or performance rating.
▪ Take actions such as changing job or compensation information, making a one-time payment or
deduction, or adding notes or badges to their profile.
▪ Go to other pages with information about each team member, such as their goal plan, their
development plan, or the performance/potential matrix .

• The My Team reminder card in the For You Today section informs you when your direct reports have
tasks that are overdue or due in the next 7 days. Use the card to send them an email reminder.

• The Birthday and Work Anniversary cards remind you when a team member has an upcoming
milestone. A first reminder appears on the first day of the month, for all birthdays and work
anniversaries on your team in the coming month. A second reminder appears on the day of the
milestone.

• The Approvals section enables you to quickly approve and decline requests from your team or about
members of your team.
• The View Team Absences quick action enables you to see the absence calendar for your team.
• The Delegate Workflows quick action enables you to assign a delegatee to process your workflows
during a specified period.

• The Report Center quick action (delivered in 1H 2021) takes you to the Report Center page.

SAP added these features to replace similar functionality on the legacy home page.

Note

In mobile applications, only the following features are available: Approvals, Birthday, Work Anniversary,
View Team Absences, and Delegate Workflows.

Capabilities Portfolio is the main worker experience in Center of Capabilities to display capabilities assigned
to employees in your organization.

Capabilities Portfolio displays the capabilities assigned to an employee along with the rated and the job-
related expected proficiency level ratings for each capability.

Capabilities Portfolio provides better visibility into the unique set of capabilities of the employees. In
addition, employees can use Capabilities Portfolio to:

• View capabilities assigned to them based on their roles.


• View current and historical proficiency ratings recorded in Performance forms.
• Access SAP SuccessFactors Opportunity Marketplace to find opportunities to increase their portfolio of
capabilities.

The Center of Capabilities now supports a proficiency rating scale to display the ratings assigned to an
employee's competencies in the Capabilities Portfolio.

To configure the proficiency rating scale, you can use the Capabilities Portfolio Settings wizard, and modify
these important settings:

• Change the number of proficiency levels from the default five levels to either three or four levels.
• Edit the default name and description for each proficiency level.
• Reset the numeric value assigned to the lowest proficiency level to start the scale with Level 0 or 1. For
example, if you choose 0 for the lowest level in a three-point scale, the rating levels start at 0 and end at
2.

In the current version:

• The Competencies page includes a new section to display proficiency levels and descriptions.
• You can view proficiency ratings assigned to competencies in Capabilities Portfolio.

In the previous version, Center of Capabilities did not support a proficiency rating scale to display ratings
for competencies.

The content on the pages for libraries, categories, groups, and competencies is now organized in multiple

• Category Details: Provides the details of a category and the option to edit a category.
• Category Items: Lists the groups and competencies associated with a category.

Except for the changes to the UI, there aren't any changes to the existing functionality.

core competencies for employees in your organization.

If an MDF object with external code User is linked to multiple schemas, it appears as a related table for the
Basic User Information table multiple times (once for each linked schema).

With Digital Assistant, users don’t need to go to module pages step by step for common HR tasks. This

You can now select a subheading level for each section of the job description template. Existing requisitions
use H2 as the default subheading level. However, you can override the options based on your
requirements, and the heading levels are applicable for job postings.

This change makes your job profiles and job postings accessibility compliant. It does this by enabling screen
readers to identify subheadings in job descriptions. You won’t see any impact on existing content because
of this change.

Users can now configure their workflow auto-delegation, respond to delegation requests, and get notified
of active delegations in both iOS and Android apps.

Using the new quick action tile, Delegate Workflows, users can turn on or turn off their auto-delegation,
select someone to act on their behalf to process workflows, and specify the period when auto-delegation
should be working. If the organization requires persons selected as delegatees to respond to such a
request, they can use a Workflow Delegation Request card on the home page to accept or reject it;
otherwise, the request is accepted automatically. Delegatees are also reminded of any active delegation.

These features enable users to configure workflow auto-delegation and respond to delegation requests on
the go. They help ensure a more consistent experience across different devices.

Deep links to People Profile blocks can now direct users who aren't logged in to SAP SuccessFactors
applications to a specific block of an employee.

To use the enhanced deep links, you need to follow new formats of deep links to blocks. This enhancement
helps ensure that users can directly visit a certain block via a deep link to the block no matter they have
logged in to the system or not.

In the current version, when users who aren't logged in select the deep link to a block in new format, the
link directs them to log in, and after they are logged in, only the specific block is displayed.

In the previous version, when users who weren't logged in selected a deep link to a block, the link directed
them to log in, and after they were logged in, the People Profile page was displayed instead of only a
specific block.

Note

The previous formats of deep links to blocks still work for logged in users. But for optimized usage, you're
recommended to replace all existing deep links outside of SAP SuccessFactors applications with the deep
links in new formats.

As a company provisioner, you can now run a scheduled job of job type Recalculate the Percentage
Complete of People Profile in Provisioning to update the percentage in the system for all active users
whose percentage complete is not updated on the current date.

This job type doesn't affect users who have no data of percentage complete.

The percentage complete of People Profile was calculated only when employees visited the profile or when
employees used the Complete Profile widget to edit the profile. Now, you can run this job to keep the
percentage complete up-to-date for all active users and help ensure data accuracy.

Previously, you can reset passwords of login accounts only by changing the passwords of the linked users of
the login accounts using the Reset User Passwords admin tool. Now you can directly reset passwords of
login accounts on the Manage Login Accounts page.

You can do so by choosing Reset Password. If you reset password for a single account, you can choose to
use a system-generated password or input a password directly. If you reset passwords for more than one
account, you can only use system-generated passwords. If you’ve enabled the Password Changed
Notification in the Email Notification Template Settings admin tool, you can also choose to send e-mail
notifications to the login accounts after you reset their passwords.

employment, SAP provide a switcher that enables you to switch between your multiple employment.

When you switch to a specific employment, your access to workspaces, cards, and guided experiences
changes accordingly, providing a similar experience to the context switcher in SAP SuccessFactors HXM
Suite.

SAP built this feature to solve the issue in which users with multiple employment couldn't access any
features within their preferred employment.

SAP changed the configuration type from "Admin Opt-In" to "Universal".
