I learned a few new things from my classmate's presentation, and it restored my memory

of some of the topics I studied in elementary school.

I have learned from the presentation that the epidermis is relatively waterproof. It helped
me recall the different layers of the skin, and it also reminded me of their different functions. I
have also remembered that nerve endings, sweat glands, sebaceous glands, and hair follicles
can be found in the dermis.

And I have also learned the theory, which I think is quite interesting, that vertebrate skin
developed from amphibians, improved in reptiles, endured in avian and mammalian epidermis.
And that the hair evolved from feathers in the Mesozoic period.
