Is globalization, characterized by a rapid exchange of goods, people, and capital across different

countries, a random or deliberate phenomenon? Who are the important actors shaping globalization?
What are your thoughts?
Answer: Indeed, globalization is characterized by all of it. For example, here in the Philippines.
The Philippines may be characterized by rapid exchange of goods over the internet,
capital from the establishment of a large investment company, but not by people.
The Philippines is only seeking for goods and capital, in terms of people, there are
people who are talented to do the above two things. It is also deliberate and random.

The important actors in shaping globalization are the world bank, international monetary
fund, world trade organization, media, international economic and financial organizations,
international Government Organizations (IGOs), trans-national corporations (TNCs),
non-government corporations (NGOs). These are the important actors shaping globalization
as all of these helps the country. Though any country can live without globalization, but it
might lead to poverty.
