LOT SELECTION

1. Avoid dead-end streets

Kapampangan customs advise against purchasing a property and building a house at the end
of a dead-end street since doing so could result in financial ruin or, in the worst case scenario,
the loss of a loved one.

2. Rectangular cuts are better

It matters how the terrain is shaped. The rectangular lot or the lot with the ideal ratio are highly
regarded. Although it is rare since rectangular lots allow for more effective subdivision cuts,
lots with equally long sides are seen to be the best choice for guaranteeing a sound and
harmonious dwelling.

3. Snakes are Lucky

According to common belief, the presence of a snake in your new yard or lot is thought to
portend prosperous business or employment.
4. It is best to cut down aratilis/mansanitas trees that grow on a lot you bought to prevent your
daughters from getting pregnant out of wedlock in the future.

5. Good luck awaits those who wish to buy that tract of land that has the presence of black ants.
BEDS
1. It is advisable to arrange the bedroom doors so that when they are opened, one does not face
the foot or head of the bed. There should also always be enough area between the door and the
bed itself.
2. The headboard of the bed should not lean against a window opening while the bed is in its
proper position.

3. No bed should be placed under a cross beam, whether it be made of wood or concrete, and it
should not be positioned so that the person lying in it is parallel to the beam. Even if they are
veneered with various materials, too strict homeowners never have exposed beams.
4. For houses with second floors, it should be observed that no drainage pipe runs inside or under
the floor where the bed is located. Drainage Pipes contain unclean fluids associated with bad
energies which may affect the good spirits of the people sleeping over these pipes.

5. Do not place bedrooms in the basement portion of the house. It's always preferred (luck-wise)
that the bedroom floor is higher than the living room. Non-sleeping rooms like library, den,
foyer, storage, etc.can be at a lower level than that of the living room.
