Application field
The self-shielded open arc wire UTP AF Ledurit 61 is a Chromium carbide deposit with high
abrasion resistance but limited resistance to impact. UTP AF Ledurit 61 is used to resist wear
from earth, sand, and abrasive particles. Typical applications: dredge pump components, mixers,
riddle plates, wear plates. The weld metal cracks to relieve cooling stresses.

Welding instructions
Clean welding area, preheating is generally not required. Buffering with UTP OA 63 is
recommended. Use dragging welding technique, possibly weaving, with 25-30 mm wire stickout.
