We have watched a television programme on the reasons why many young people choose to
live in cities. From this, we can extract some opinions that can be discussed from different
points of view.

In this essay I’m going to discuss about two factors which, for me, influence the most on why
many young people choose to live in cities, these are work and culture and down below I’m
going to express some points that show why these two elements are the most significant.

As it’s common knowledge we all know that in small towns there’s less range of jobs to apply
for and normally are the ones that let a town cover the basic needs for population like
supermarkets, small schools or doctors, meanwhile in the cities the contrary happens, we can
find a major range of works and many different types.

We also have the concept of culture, I can say about this that after living some experiences
abroad, I feel that in big cities are keener to be open -minded and, as a consequence of that it
tends to be more inclusivity and more diversity around them so teenagers and young people
as well as more adult people can express more freely themselves in terms of fashions,
socializing, do more activities, there’s existence of more museums or places to learn.

To sum up I think that in small towns habitants are more likely to be close-minded and people
nowadays want to know more about everything and live more experiences. That can be a big
motive for young people nowadays to choose to live in big cities.

( not in all cases, because you can find everything in the world, but in a majority),

We have watched a television programme on the reasons why many young people

In this essay I’m going to discuss two factors which, for me, influence the most on why

As it’s common knowledge, we all know that in small towns there’s a limited range of
jobs to apply for and, normally, the ones that exist allow the town to cover the basic
needs of its population, like supermarkets, small schools, or doctors. Meanwhile, in the
cities, the opposite happens, We can find a major range of jobs that people with certain
degrees can apply for.

We also have the concept of culture. After travelling abroad, I believe that people in big
cities are more open-minded, and as a result, there is more inclusivity and diversity
around them, allowing teenagers and young people, as well as older people, to express
themselves more freely in terms of fashion, socializing, and taking up new hobbies.
There's also the existence of more museums or cult places to visit.
To sum up, I think that in small towns habitants are more likely to be close-minded and
people nowadays want to know more about everything and have more experiences. That
can be a big motive for young people nowadays to choose to live in big cities.
