SEQIP TEAM HOMABAY COUNTY

RESOLUTIONS / WAY FORWARD


1. All site managers (principals and head teachers) are required to identify Fundis
both skilled and unskilled to be sub-contracted by the main contractor. This is to
be done immediately.
2. The contractor will map all project sites (schools) by Friday 8th September 2023.
This will FastTrack sub-contracting process.
3. All sub-contracted Fundis to sign contracts/agreement with the contractor.
4. All stakeholders to support the contractor and sub-contracted Fundis through
supervision.
5. Daily projects updates to be done at 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM. This will involve
sharing of status photos and any relevant narration.
6. The project supervisor (Eng. Victoria) to visit the site at least after every 3 days.
7. The supervisor (Resident Architect Eng. Victoria) to visit the Headteacher’s/
principal’s office during site visit. This is to be done before she visits the project
site. The principal/ headteacher must know she is visiting the project site for
supervision.
8. Any requisite building material to be supplied/delivered to the site by Friday
8/9/2023.
9. ESHS compliance checklist
10. The supervisor to avail architectural designs at all project sites. Soft copies
immediately and hard copies by Friday 8/9/2023.
11. All principals and headteachers to be added to the Homabay SEQIP WhatsApp
wall for easier projects implementation. All added stakeholders to be active by
sending daily updates.
12. All pending bills owed to schools /individuals by the contractor for utilities and
services to be paid by Friday 8/9/2023. The payments to be done in reference to
agreement.
