➜ MAJOR DUTY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 In cases of emergency, carrying out first aid care and treatment according to protocols in
order to reduce mortality rates.
 Implement field activities such as community mobilization,implementation, outreach
programs, food demonstration sessions and IYCF-E promotion.
facilitate admission of the patient at the OTP, and SC
 Early case identification, referral linkages and proper treatment of the identified cases
at all sites (TSFP, OTP and SC sites).
 Improving basic preventive health care at community level with emphasis health,
immunization, health and nutrition services
 Train and support the HEWs on prevention and response of major diseases under
surveillance and in severe acute malnutrition case management.
 Supervision, monitoring and evaluation of different program activities with indicators of
the program and using check lists.
 Recording in the individual patient's card and registration books, all performed medical
activities (drugs prescribed, lab results, vaccination status,
 Establish woreda, kebele & village WASH team/committees to monitor and maintain
community.
 Facilitating nursing activities of different nutrition programs(SC,OTP,TSFP &IYCF)
 Providing malnutrition treatment in ITFC(SC) and supervising all medical related
activities in SC and follow up of patients progress
 Ensure patient care is provided with respect to the various acuity measures in SGBV and
trauma care.
