Course Description
This course presents the functions of the Human Resource management in the organizations: Job
analysis, planning, recruitment, selection, and training. It helps the students to be familiarized with the
employee-employer relationship within the organization, and the role of HRM in this relationship. This
course will put the student in touch with the field through the use of case study and will show them that
all the stakeholders are necessarily involved with HRM. Moreover, this course provides a manager’s
perspective on the effective management of the human resources of an organization.

Course Objectives

LO1: Introducing students to the basic concepts and functions of Human Resource Management
LO2: Focusing on the strategic role of HR in planning and operating organizations.
LO3: Discussing current topics in human resources management.
LO4: Highlighting the interrelationship of human resource management functions and the increasing
utilization of technology
