- Title page: complete title & author’s/editor’s name
- Table of Contents
- List of Figures / Tables
- Preface and Acknowledgement
Text
- Minimum four chapters
- Each chapter needs an introduction and conclusion
End Matter
- References
- Index
- List of Contributors (*edited book)
Additional requirements for edited book:

- Editor must write an introductory chapter : gives background of


the book and ties all the other chapters under a unifying theme
- Editor must contribute another chapter (excluding introduction)
- Editor must prepare a List of Contributors : name, academic affiliations
and areas of expertise. Names are arranged alphabetically.

The manuscript has poor writing


- Language quality
- Excessive use of jargons
- Style of writing
Thesis to Book: Common Mistakes

Including methodology

Including too many tables and figures

Using footnotes
