TO KNOW THE CUSTOMER SATISFICATION OF CINTHOL SOAP


Abstarct
This study is based on customer satisfaction level with Cintol soap. Of course, people will
always prefer to buy one company's product over another. companies with the advance of the
industrial revolutions. Relationship between manufacturer and customers rely solely on
factors such as fragrance, quality, suitability and packaging. The research design chosen in
this study is a descriptive conducted with the help of 15 respondents. The data from this study
are analyzed using the following percentage investigation. For the study, we applied sampling
technique. The research was method and weighted average method.
The study uses a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative research
methods to provide a understanding of customer satisfaction.
The qualitative phase involves group of consumers to explore their experiences, perceptions
and opinions about cinthol soap. Qualitative data aims to uncover motivations, preferences,
and underlying concerns related to product attributes, fragrance, efficacy, and packaging.
The quantitative phase involves a structured survey distributed to a sample of ten consumers.
The survey collects data on factors such as product quality, fragrance, skin tolerance, price
and overall satisfaction. Statistical analyzes are performed to determine the relationship
between these factors and overall customer satisfaction.

Introduction
The consumer is the market's king. Physical and mental activity are included in consumer
performance. Perceiving communication, material, and learning are all examples of mental
activities, I prefer a specific brand of product, on the other hand, call activities include going
to a store and looking over the product choices is physical. The consumer market is the
totality of all goods and services. services acquired by residents of a city within a specific
time period provided country Or a piece of it for their satisfaction requirements for
consumption.

Cinthol is a popular personal care brand, best known for their range of bath soaps and related
products. It is manufactured and marketed by Godrej Consumer Products Limited, an Indian
multinational company with a diversified portfolio of consumer products. Cinthol Soap has
been a staple in the Indian and international markets for several decades and has gained
recognition for its distinctive characteristics and brand name. Positioned as a refreshing and
invigorating bathing experience, the soap aims to provide users with a boost of energy and a
revitalizing feeling. The brand's slogan "Alive is Awesome" reflects the emphasis on an active
and dynamic lifestyle. Cinthol soap is available in different formulations to suit different skin
types and preferences. Notable variants include original, lime, menthol, and deodorant-based
options. The unique combination of fragrances, essential oils and ingredients such as menthol
contribute to the unmistakable fragrance and cooling effect of the Cinthol soap. Soap Opera's
packaging and advertising campaigns often focused on themes such as adventure, outdoor
activities and an energetic attitude to life. These marketing strategies have contributed to the
brand's strong association with youth and a dynamic lifestyle. As consumer preferences have
shifted towards natural and organic products in recent years, Cinthol has also introduced
variants containing herbal and natural ingredients, thus catering to a broader audience seeking
products that match those preferences .Overall, Cinthol soap occupies an important place in
the personal care industry with a focus on providing a refreshing and revitalizing bathing
experience that fits a vibrant, active lifestyle. Its long-standing presence, diverse
formulations, and strong brand identity make it an interesting subject for consumer behavior
research, marketing strategies, product development, and personal care product development
in the marketplace.

The aim of the study is to measure the level of customer satisfaction in relation to your bath
soap. The sample size used in the study is 200 respondents. The analysis tool used is the
mean, weighted mean, and chi-square in this study. has come to the conclusion that the
quality and the value of the product may cause the consumer to switch brands.

The objective of the study is to know the consumer preference for bathing soaps with
reference to price, availability, sale-promotion, quantity. The sample size of the study is 150
respondents. The analytical tool used in this study is convenience sampling. It has concluded
that the study shows strong and positive association of preference for bathing soap with
availability and low price.

The Objectives of the study is to analyse the knowledge of the customers about the product
and to identify the buyers opinion. The sample size of the study is 50 respondents. The 15
analytical tool used in this study is percentage analysis. From this study it has concluded that
the consumers expect the company to provide the products at a lower price.

Objective
To measure the level of satisfaction of Cintol soap users.

Hypothesis
Cinthol Soap is performing better then other soap brand in term of nourishing, and
moisturizing the skin without any side effect so the customers are Highly satisfied with this
soap.

Methodology
Research can be conducted through a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods.
Qualitative data on customer perceptions and preferences can be collected through surveys,
Quantitative data can be collected through structured surveys sent to a diverse sample of
cinthol soap users. A Likert scale or a similar rating system can be used to measure customer
satisfaction and customer opinions on various attributes. The results can help or reject the
hypothesis and provide insight into factors that contribute significantly to customer
satisfaction.
Primary Data - A well structured questionnaire / interview was used to collect the primary
data from 15 respondents.
Secondary Data - Research obtained secondary data from journals and previous data or
researches.

customers are satisfied with the quality of the brand, image, availability and price and his

skin suits. Soap is an important everyday product customers. Currently, the competition is
raging with the flame of an advertising war. People needs a quality soap that's willing to stay
with the brand or give it up Score points for another. The company needs to strengthen its
unique strategies and proposed model to increase sales. The attitude of the customers shows a
positive response Product. Understanding the minds of customers is essential for the survival
and development of a business by attracting and selling their products. This study reveals that
Most respondents know the information about Cinthol Soap.
It is concluded that the customers are satisfied with the over- all performance of
Cinthol Soap. The respondents are appalled with the attributes of a brand. The attitude of the
customers shows positive response towards the product.
