Date and Venue: September 1-3, 2023, Top Plaza Hotel, Dplg City

Rationale of the Action Plan:

The Department of Education pledges to bridge learning gaps and help students in
Key Stages 1 to 4 meet the learning requirements in support with the National Learning
Recovery Program (NLRP). Anent to this, DepEd introduces the National Learning Camp
(NLC), a voluntary learning recovery program, to remedy the learning losses brought on,
among other things, by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The program aims to improve the learners’ outcomes in reading, mathematics, and
science and technology. This is also an initiative to strengthen teacher competence through
collaborative culture. This offers learners additional instructional support to assist them
enhance learning in relation to the curriculum skills appropriate to their respective levels.
With this, teachers are inspired to help students develop higher order thinking skills,
and delve into the real context of the learners thereby traversing the mantra: “Zuper Galing
Norte, Matatag, Posible ang Imposible”. This desire has made this Re-Entry Plan inspired,
stirred, and decisive.

Objectives of the Action Plan:

To gear up the DepEd ZN Division’s thrust of improving next year’s NLC implementations,
this Re-Entry Plan is pushed forward with the following objectives:

1. reflect the recent year’s NLC implementations, capture weaknesses, target gaps
and streamline interventions in this Re-Entry Plan;
2. revalidate school performance with respect to NLC implementations;
3. revitalize the mechanisms of the program implementations: sustain best practices
and address the challenges;
4. generate authentic data and feedbacks of the program;
5. develop needs-based program activities, which address program weak points; and
6. craft a contextualized school re-entry plan
