Good morning to one all present here

On this occasion I owe my sincere gratitude to Respected principal, dear teacher who were
backbone and greater supporters in shaping my career I am today.

It is truly a honour for me to be here and addressing you all.

I thank the principal for inviting me as a guest of honour.

I would say that my time as a student of this school had been a turning point as well as a
cherishable period.

My studies and my life as a student had started as you have been experiencing today , It was
the time when I was a playful child and not serious about my studies, Teachers observed
me, Like you, I even got scolding from the teachers; but I had taken them all in right way.
After receiving the bitter criticism I went and talk with concerned staff where I need to
correct myself because we assume that whatever we do is right but they know what is right
for us in that stage.

And scolding, criticism and bitter experience would surely help us to be a better student in
future if we take them as a stepping stone. My teachers made me realize, "You can't do big
things if you are distracted by small things that have nothing to do with goals."

I corrected myself and started giving importance to my studies the same importance that I
used to give to games, etc etc etc . The result is i turned out to be a bright student in school
and college, secured fair percentage , I got my favourite branch – mechanical dept, got
admission to top engineering college in tamilnadu, College of engineering, Guindy, anna
university, cleared RAILWAY RECRUTEMENT BOARD EXAM and now I am standing infornt of
u as senior section engineer, southern railways, Chennai.

U need inspiration to be a successful person and one of inspirations is my mother, misses

poongudi, she is the perfect example for the sentence “Great achievement is usually born of
great sacrifice, and is never the result of selfishness.”

And second is my teachers made who made me shine and reach my goal in this competitive
world,

Education provides stability in life, and it's something that no one can ever take away from
you. By being well-educated and holding a college degree, you increase your chances for
better career opportunities and open up new doors for yourself
We all have our dreams and if we keep believing the dream our wish will come true.

To achieve the dreams, we need to stick to it and work hard because the future belongs
to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.

Today will be hard, tomorrow will be hardest but the day after tomorrow will be
sunshine.

So let us all work hard, study, play, and try to excel in our life to become good citizens of
tomorrow and make our parents and teachers proud.

I request you all to make use of every opportunity given to you. Proudly proclaim that you
are a montfordian. All the best, for your bright future. Ignite each and every one with your
good positive thought.
