Methods used for safe disposal of wastes

recyclable, degradable and non degradable.
Recyclable wastes inculdes papers, plastic, metal etc.
Degradable or organic wastes include kitchen food
wastes, agricultural wastes
Non degradable wastes include glass, metals, plastic
Used for disposing: domestic waste in the household
Suggestion: using this method for seperating solid
municipal waste for more effective disposal
Impact- prevents unnecessary dumping thus benefiting
the environment

Composting: putting the waste organic matter to decay

so that it can be used for fertilizing the agricultural
land.
Used for disposing: agricultural wastes like animal
wastes and agricultural residues in the household
Suggestion: urging residents to segregate their
agricultural waste in a separate bin and using the
salvagable products to compost around the community
Impact: good for the plants and is cost effective.

Drainage: A proper system of drains which carries away

all kinds of fluid wastes
