Employee Section

1. What is e-TES?

 Interactive system used to enter and administer how time was spent during the day.
 Used to record time worked or an absence.
 e-TES link: https://etes.csc.com.

2. Importance of e-TES

 CSC employees are required to record their work and any authorized absences each day.
 Subcontractors are also required to record their hours worked each day; but, unless requested by the contract,
absences should not be recorded.
 It is the policy (MANAGEMENT POLICY NUMBER 714) of Computer Sciences Corporation:

- To require each employee to personally complete a weekly time record on e-TES system.
- To require time records be approved by the employee's supervisor.
- To require employees who refuse or persistently neglect to complete a weekly time record to be subject to
disciplinary action.
- To observe the highest standards of business and ethical conduct when recording employees' time.

 Employee must record time on a daily basis. This information is needed to accurately pay you in a timely manner
and to promptly bill the client for your efforts. Time sheets are processed for each individual.

3. Who all are required to fill e-TES

 All regular employees need to fill e-TES irrespective of their billing status.
 All billable contingent/sub-con resources need to fill e-TES.

4. Who all are not required to fill e-TES

 Resources under the Contingent Labor category belonging to the Support Group (Enabler) (following group) who
are non-billable, are not supposed to fill e-TES:
 Admin
 Finance
 HR
 NMG
 Quality
 Recruitment
 RMG
 Service Desk & ESS

 Employee on Sabbatical/Maternity Leave.


5. Consequences of not filling e-TES

 If defaulted for 1st week then the resource will get a mail from finance compliance cell for non compliance to MPS 714 time
keeping policy.
 If defaulted for consecutive 2nd week then the resource will get a mail from finance compliance cell for persistent
non-compliance with escalation to manager.
 If defaulted for consecutive 3rd week then resource will get a mail from finance compliance cell for persistent non-
compliance with escalation to manager & vertical head.
 If defaulted for consecutive 4th week PAYROLL PROCESSING will be STOPPED.

6. Important Information

 CSC’s standard workweek is Saturday through Friday.


 Enter time into e-TES daily.
 Set up default work location into e-TES.
 Submit your time at the end of workweek.
 Time & Labor are processed weekly.

7. e-TES Terminology

 Wage/Time Type (WTT)


– One 4-digit code
– Incorporate shift code: Day Shift (1010-REGULAR HOURS), NIGHT SHIFT(HD), NIGHT SHIFT (FD) & STAND
BY (1310)
– Labor category: Billable(0000), Non- Billable (0001) & L1 category (9xxx)
 Quick Entry list
– Created by employee
– Offer list of frequently used work orders
 Prior Time Adjustment
– Allows you to correct prior time entry items
 Work order is 8 digit code used in e-TES for time booking, also called e-TES code, WBS code.
 New Absences
– To record absences

8. e-TES Functionality

 User functionality
– Enter Time.
– Absence hours can be entered up to 12 weeks in advance.
 Accounting Validation
– Validates project
– Validates labor category associated with the projects
 Verify Work Location entered.
 Create & modify a “Quick Entry List” of work orders.
 Change or add to time data.
 Indicate your daily work location
 Generate reports.
9. What e-TES does not allow
 Entry of work hours for future days.
 Entry of work location for future days.
 Entry of absence/leave codes in “Quick Entry” list.

10. Initial Log-In Process


 Gather the following:
– Quick Reference Card
– e-TES Quick Start Guide for New Users
 Enter https://e-TES.csc.com.
 Enter Global Pass ID & Password (given by HR).
 Review your profile.
 Build a “Quick Entry” list.
 Setup your Default Work Location.
 What code needs to be used? Ask your manager for the e-TES/WBS code.
 Book actual number of hrs worked on project (min time requirement is 9hrs each day).

11. Unable to login into Global Pass? How to reset the password

12. Accessing e-TES

Web Access:
 Must use Internet Explorer 4.0 through 8.0.
 URL: https://e-TES.csc.com
 Log in using your Shortname (Short ID) and Global Pass password.

13. Entering Work Location in e-TES

 Log in to e-TES.
 Click Work Location (top of screen).
 Setup your Default Work Location (initial set up only).
– Click Modify Default Work Location.
– Enter an address under New Work Location.
– Check appropriate days and click Apply (a default address on all 7 days is required).
– Click Save.
 Identify daily work location for work hours.
– Select Default Work Location or select New Work Location and enter address.

 Check appropriate day(s) and click Apply.


 Click Save Work Location.

13A. Setting Up Default Work Locations in e-TES

 Select “Work Location” tab from top navigation.

 The first time you use the new function, you will see a dialogue box as shown below. Click “OK,” then click
“Modify Default Work Location” at the bottom of the screen.

 Set up your default work location(s), even for non-scheduled work days (Default work location is the location in
which you normally work.).
a) Enter your default work location in the “New Work Location” fields; you must enter all fields.
b) Check the days of the week for which the location applies.
c) Click “Apply.”
Default work is location added.

 Repeat steps a, b, and c to enter a default work location for your non-scheduled work days (e.g. enter home
address for Saturday and Sunday).

 When Default is set for all days, click “Save Work Location.”

13B. Adding a new work location for a specific day(s).


If work location for a few specific days is different from the default work location then you may change work location
for those specific days while recording time.

 Select “Work Location” tab from top navigation.

a) To add a new work location for a specific day(s), click the radio button for “New Work Location”.
b) Then enter the address; you must enter all fields.
c) Check the days of the week for which the location applies.
d) Click “Apply”; your new work location will copy to your timesheet .

In this example, the employee planned to work on Thursday and Friday at a new work location.

Note: You can also select the entry from Work Location List if already created.

e) Click “Save Work Location.”

*Important Reminders:

 You must enter default work location for each day.


 You will be unable to save your timesheet until you enter default work location.

14. Entering Time in e-TES

After logging into e-TES:


 Click Timesheet (located at the top).
 Select an item from QE list drop-down menu (If you have added the code to the QE list).
 Show Work Order window will pop up.
 Select the Add to Time Sheet check box to add the description to the time sheet
 Enter hours on appropriate day.
 Click Save
Note: To see work order detail, click the work order description link on the timesheet.

15. Adding code in Quick Entry List

Creating Quick Entry (QE) List:


 Login to e-TES.
 Click Quick Entry tab > New Work Order.
 Select Wage/Time Type (Regular or Night Shift (FD/HD) or Standby).
 Enter Project Code (8 digit numeric code only, Code beginning with 3 belongs to new series and do not
require prefix ‘0’).
 Click on Show Project and select Project/task from the list.
 System will provide Project Description & Description for the code/project selected.
 Click on Billing/Labor Category (optional) to change the default values.
 Click Add to Quick Entry.

Enter appropriate hours against the Work Order Description.

Click on Save to save the time sheet

Click on Submit to submit the timesheet.

16. Removing Work Orders from Quick Entry List

To remove Work Orders from your Quick Entry List you simply need to select all the Work Orders you wish to delete
and press the Delete button.

Steps to remove a Work Order:


 Log on to e-TES.
 Select Quick Entry.
 Select the Work Orders you wish to remove. To select more than one Work Order hold down the Control key while
using the mouse to click on the desired Work Orders.
 Press Delete.
17. Process time adjustment in e-TES
After logging into e-TES:
 Click on Prior Time Adjustment tab.
 Select the week ending date for which you want to process an adjustment & click on Select.
 Add the code.
 Update the time.
 Click on Submit.
 Select the appropriate reason.
 Click on OK.

If missing time (zero hours) is reported for the prior week then no project/time will be visible. The project & time needs to
be added in that case.

Use Quick Entry list to add the available code to the time sheet or add the new code using New Work Order/New
Absence option

If time is filled for the prior week then code & time will be visible in the time sheet.
Adjust appropriate time in the prior week time sheet.

19. Reports
Certain reports may display differently depending on your role. Reports available to you are listed with roles in
parenthesis.

19A. Audit Trail Report (Personnel)

Description of the Audit Trail Report

Audit Trail

 Lists all changes made to a person’s time sheet.


 Includes the name of the person who made the change and date/time when the change was initiated.

Audit Trail Report lists every transaction that you have entered. The report heading displays the following:

 Date and time of generation of the Report


 Company Code

 Week ending date

 Manager’s Name

 Your Name

 Your Company Code

 Your Company Subgroup

 Your Department

Each line of the report lists the following:

 Date and Time of transaction


 Wage/Time Type

 Shift

 Project

 Type

 Assignment

 Hours

Running an Audit Trail Report

 Log on to e-TES.
 Select Reports.

 Select Audit Trail.

 Select the Year, Month, and Day of the Week Ending Date.

 Press OK.
19B.Time Detail Report (Personnel)

Description of the Time Detail Report

Time Detail

 Displays all saved time entry items for user.


 Hours are totaled by days & by work orders.
 Display the timesheet’s status.

The Time Detail Report shows the worker the hours recorded for the requested week. The report heading
displays the following:

 Date and time the report was generated


 Company Code

 Week ending date

 Manager’s Name

 Your Name

 Your Company Code

 Your Company Subgroup

 Your Department

 Your Pay Group

 Your Status

 Your Contracted Weekly Hours

 Your time sheet’s approval status

Each line of the report lists the following:

 Wage/Time Type
 Shift

 Project

 Type

 Assignment

 Hours for each day of the week


The report features the following:

 Totals for each day of the week and each line are provided.
 Once the worker’s time has been submitted or approved, "Submitted" or "Approved" is displayed at the top of
the report.

 The Time Detail Report is available for the prior week, current week, or future week.

 The future week Time Detail Report shows absences recorded in advance.

Running a Time Detail Report

 Log in to e-TES.
 Select Reports.

 Select Time Detail tab located in the left pan.

 Select the Year, Month, and Day of the Week Ending date to specify the weekend range.

 Press OK.

Adjusted Time Detail Report

 The Adjusted Time Detail Report shows the final time sheet status.

The report features the following:

 Displayed the final time sheet entry status


 If no adjustment has been done it displays the same as in Time Detail report.

 Provides an option to select a date range to pull the Time Sheets for multiple weeks at time

Note: Data gets updated in this report next week. Please refer to this report next week for final time sheet status.

How to run a Adjusted Time Detail Report

 Log in to e-TES.
 Select Reports.

 Select Time Detail tab located in the left pan.

 Select Adjusted Time Detail option and select the Week ending date range

 Click OK.

 Display Quick Entry List Items.

 Zero hours Report


 Display employee(s) who have zero hours for at least one day.

 Work Location
 Display previous 35 days of work location.

 Time adjustment

 Display information on all prior time adjustment submitted by the user.


20. Difference between Billable code and Non-billable code

 Billable code is a code for which efforts are billable to the client/inter company
 Non-billable code is not billable to anyone (mostly used by support group)

21. What to do when:


21A). Project gets changed

Employee needs to touch base with the project manager for the new code.

21B).Traveling onsite/offsite

Employee Travels onsite

 L1: Continue using respective base location/STPI India code with billing key 99 as directed by manager.
 B1: Continue using respective base location/STPI India code without any change.
 Payroll Transfer: e-TES will be transferred to the destination country, where the employee is transferred
to. All the respective country’s e-TES rules will be applied as per their time keeping policy.

Employee returns to India

Employee needs to report his arrival to the Corporate Shared Services team. Once the details are updated by the
team, India e-TES gets activated in the next 24 hrs and resource should start booking time as per CSCI time
keeping policy.

21C). In case of exits:


 Employee needs to make sure his timesheet is correct & complete
 All the resources reporting to the exiting manager (if any) should be assigned to a new manager.

22. e-TES Code Searching & Request Tool (In developmental phase)

Login credentials: Global Pass ID & Password.

CSC India resources can login to this tool & find their respective location’s project code by providing the required
information, if:

 Code is not available in the database


 New is code is to be created
 Existing code has expired & need to be extended

Then the users can click on the link (to be provided later) & request for the new code & extension of the existing code.

23. FAQ’s

1. I am Unable to access e-TES and getting error message "Shortname XXXXXX has no e-TES Personal
Number".

e-TES access gets activated/de-activated as per data maintained in SAP HR. A mail need to be sent to
answersindia@csc.com for the Shortname update. Resource gets access to e-TES within 24-48 hrs once the
shortname is updated in SAP HR.

2. I was an L1 resource and have come back to India, but my e-TES still shows US leave options?

e-TES access gets updated as per data maintained in SAP HR. You need to report your arrival to Answers India. A mail
needs to be sent to answersindia@csc.com. e-TES will get updated within 24-48 hrs once the details are updated in
SAP HR.

3. I have come from onsite and I am not able to access e-TES.

e-TES access gets activated/de-activated as per data maintained in SAP HR. A mail needs to be sent to
answersindia@csc.com for the shortname update. Resource gets access to e-TES within 24-48 hrs once the
shortname is updated in SAP HR.

4. I have changed my Shortname (ShortID) and now I am unable to access my e-TES.

If you have changed your ShortID through GPM (Global Profile Manager), please inform answersindia@csc.com
about it as they update employee's details in SAP HR. Once the details in SAP HR get updated, e-TES id will
automatically be activated in 24-48 hrs.
5. I am on Sabbatical/Maternity Leave. Do I need to fill e-TES?
In case of special leaves (SL/ML), employees need to apply for the same through ESS by filling up the form. They will
have leave quota in e-TES accordingly. Leave hours get updated in e-TES through an automated process. Employee can
contact Answers India team for any leave related queries/issue in e-TES.

6. I am a regular resource (non-billable), do I need to fill e-TES?

All regular employees need to fill e-TES irrespective of their billing status.

7. I am a contingent/sub-con billable resource; do I need to fill e-TES?

All billable contingent/sub-con resources need to fill e-TES.

8. I am contingent/sub con non-billable resource; do I need to fill e-TES?

Resources who belong to Contingent Labor– Support Group (following group) and are non-billable, are not supposed to
fill e-TES.

9. How would I know my manager has rejected a time adjustment?

If a Manager rejects an adjustment, the very next time a resource login to e-TES, he/she would receive a pop up
message regarding a rejected adjustment.
10. What should I do if my manager’s name is incorrect in e-TES?

Manager name is updated as per the Org Report. Contact your current e-TES manager as he has the administrative
rights of resource’s account. Only he can assign a resource to a new manager. (You can check the current e-TES
manager name in Profile section of your e-TES.)
Note: If manager name is displaying as ADMIN-663 in your Profile, please contact India e-TES to get your manager
name updated.

11. How many approvals are required for Prior time adjustment?

PTA requires two-level approvals:


 e-TES Manager
 Labor Accounting

13. Can I re-adjust timesheet for previous week after adjusting it once?

It can be done only after the approval cycle is complete & data is transferred to GSAP. Till then timesheet will be locked
for this particular week.

14. How & when adjustments reflect in e-TES?

Changes made in WBS/e-TES code (other than Standard codes) and billing/labor category will reflect in e-TES the next
day (keeping total no. of hours same as original).

Changes made in time type/standard codes and no. of hours will reflect in e-TES next week.

15. When will adjustment be available in GSAP?

Labor adjustments processed in e-TES will not be available in GSAP until the following week (i.e. only after weekly
interface on Friday).

16. Will I receive any notification if my manager approves PTA submitted by me?

Not in case of approval.

18. Will I receive any notification if my manager rejects PTA submitted by me?

You will receive a pop up/splash message very next time you login into e-TES after your manager has rejected your
PTA, informing you about rejected PTA along with a reason.

19. I am unable to book time in time sheet for the current week, it seems locked. What to do now?

Your time sheet got locked probably because lock out time has passed or it was approved by your manager before
employee lock out. You can request your manager to first Unapprove and then unlock the time sheet using Unlock
Time Sheet option in his e-TES.

20. I have adjusted time for weekending xx/xx/xxxx but it is not updated in the Time Sheet/Time Details Report.
Please advise what to do.

The Time sheet tab reflects only original time entered. If you process time adjustment in e-TES, it reflects in Time
Adjustment report only (Reports-> Time Adjustment->select All option->select Week Ending) for the week
concerned. Time Detail report (Reports tab-> Time Detail tab->Click OK) reflects time entered only for the current
week in e-TES.

Manager Section

1. Role/Responsibility of a manager

 Ensuring time is entered daily


 Reviewing employee time
 Generating time detail reports
 Approving Time
 All the time to be approved before the manager lockout time.
 Manager needs to make sure all the time booked by his reportees should be correct & duly approved.
 Manager needs to make sure new codes are requested for creation well in time & are available to his reportees for
time booking.
 In case if the code has expired, manager needs to make sure the corresponding new code is created or existing
code is extended well on time.

2. Functions of a manager
 Approving time
 Assigning alternate manager
 Re-assigning personnel to the approving manager ( in case of transfer, project change)
 Reviewing time
 Adjusting time for personnel
 Approval of prior week’s time sheet
 Unlocking time sheets
 Generating Reports
 Approving prior time adjustments
3. Initial set-up for the managers.

 Assigning ‘Alternates’
 Alternates will assume manager’s role when necessary.
 use ‘Assign Alternate’ function.

 Assigning Manager Administrators


 Manager Administrators will assist in reviewing employee’s time.
 Use ‘Assign Alternate Manager’ function tab.

 Reviewing Approval List


 Use ‘Approve Time’ function to review list.
 Run Approval List report.

Note: Manager need to suggest alternates that wouldn’t normally be out when they are (Travel etc.). These can be
either of the following:

 Alternates (all the same rights as yours, as a manager)


 Reports
 Approvals
 Role assignments (one way)

 Administrators
 Report access only
 Invaluable support

4. Timesheet Process Workflow

Following are the e-TES lockout time for India employees:


For Employees : Friday 6:00 PM (IST) i.e. 7:30 AM ET
For Managers : Friday 7:00 PM (IST) i.e. 8:30 AM ET
5. What to do when :
5A). Project Changes for an Employee:

Employee needs to touch base with the project manager for the new code.

5B). Employee Travel onsite/offsite:

Employee travels onsite:

 L1: Employee to continue using respective base location/STPI India code with billing key 99.
 B1: Employee to continue using respective base location/STPI India code without any change.
 Payroll Transfer: e-TES will be transferred to the country which the employee is transferred to.
All the respective country’s e-TES rule will be applied as per their time keeping policy.

Employee returns to India:

Employee needs to report his arrival to the shared service team. Once the details are updated by the team, India e-
TES will be activated in the next 24 hrs and the resource should start booking time as per CSCI time keeping policy.

6. Typical mistakes, non-compliances and pain areas

 Manager does not assign resource to the new manager in case of transfer/project change of the resource. As a
result the employee’s time is unapproved. If the employee processes any time adjustment it can’t be approved by
the current/correct manager and the same can’t be billed to the client.

 Manager needs to make sure exiting employee’s time sheet is up to date & correct so that his efforts are be
appropriately billed correctly to the client.

 Exiting Manager needs to make sure all his reportees in e-TES are correctly assigned to the new manager so that
after his exit, his reportee does not face any problem with time approvals.

7. Additional Responsibilities of Managers.

 In e-TES resource assignment is the responsibility of current e-TES manager.


 Any excess employee/incorrectly aligned employee needs to be assigned to the correct manager.
 During L1 travel (onsite) of India resource, India Manager must assign L1 resource to a new US Manager.
 On return of L1 India resource to India, US Manager must assign India resource to an India Manager.
 Manager needs to approve/reject PTA before assigning an employee to a new manager.

8. Reviewing and Approving Time after Employee Timesheet Lockout:


Use Approve Time option to review, approve, or unapprove time:
 Login to e-TES.
 Click on Approve Time.
 Select from Manager List (yourself or name of the manager who has appointed you as an Alternate).
 Click OK.
 Select Current Week.
 Select employee timesheet(s).
 To review all employee timesheets, click on Select All.
 To review timesheets for multiple employees, hold down the control key while selecting each employee; then
click on Selected.
 To review one employee, select the employee and click on Selected.
 Select one, multiple, or all employees for approval.
 To approve all timesheets, click Select All, and then click Approve Time.
 To approve one or multiple employees, click on the Select box in the upper right corner of each timesheet you want
to approve; click on Approve Time
 A padlock icon indicates that the timesheet has been approved and is locked

9. Adjusting time for an Employee

Login to e-TES:
 Click Adjust Time.
 Select from Manager (yourself or name of manager who has appointed you as an Alternate).
 Click OK.
 Select Current Week to identify timesheet to be adjusted.

(Note: Manager cannot adjust his/her reportees’ previous week timesheet)

 Select employee from Personnel List.


 Click OK.
 Make changes on timesheet.
 Click Save (If you do not click Save before clicking on another function tab, your changes will be lost; the system
does not prompt you to save)
10. Re-assigning Employee to another Approval Manager

Login to e-TES:
 Click Assign Personnel.
 Enter new Approval Manager’s last name.
 Enter new Approval Manager’s first name.
 Select employee’s current approval manager (yourself or name of manager who has appointed you as an
Alternate).
 Click OK to bring up the next screen.
 Click on the name of the new manager.
 Click on the name of the employee to be re-assigned.
 Click Assign.
 Click OK to verify the action.
11. Unapproving the resources’ time sheet:

To unapprove time, follow the steps listed below:


 Log on to e-TES.
 Select ‘Approve Time’ tab.
 Select the manager for whom you would like to do an approval for. This may be yourself or someone you are an
Alternate for.
 Press OK.

 Select whether you would like to approve Current Week option.

 Select the individual you would like to Unapprove.


 To select everyone on the manager’s approval list, press the Select All button.
 To select a few people hold down the control key and select the desired workers, then press Selected.
 To select one person, click on the desired person and press Selected.
 Remove the check mark from the Approve check box.
 Press Unapprove Time.

12. Approving Time-Sheet of the resources for the previous week which was not approved
during that week
 Log on to e-TES.

 Click on Missing Approvals Tab.

 Select the manager name

 Select the week ending and resource name from the list

 On the next screen select the check box and click on Approve Time.
13. Approving Time Adjustment submitted by resources for the previous week (Prior Time
Approval)

Once a resource submits a PTA, the very next time the manager logs in into his e-TES, he receives a pop-up/splash
message mentioning that there is a time sheet pending for his approval. Manager can go ahead and approve the same
using prior time approval option.
 The manager will log into e-TES.
 The following message box will appear notifying the manager that there are pending adjustments needing approval.

 Select Prior Time Approval, to approve all pending adjustments.


The Replacement Format displays the Time Sheet as it appears after the adjustment.

Note: Only the week ending dates for which there are adjustments to approve, will be displayed

 The timesheet will appear for the manager to review.


 The manager has the option to APPROVE or REJECT the timesheet.
 To approve the timesheet, select Approve and Submit.

The Before and After Image(s) Format displays the before and after image of each Time Sheet entry.

 The following notification will appear. You must select OK to complete the approval process.
 If you want to stop the approval process, select Cancel
 Once you click OK the following message will appear stating that the adjustment has been approved.

 This completes the approval process in e-TES. The adjustment will appear in e-TES after India LCD Administrator
performs a final approval in LCD. You cannot make additional changes to this week until then.

14. Rejecting time adjustment submitted by a resource (Prior time Rejection)

 To reject a submitted labor adjustment, select Reject.


 The following box will appear.

 Enter you reason for rejecting the timesheet and click on Submit.

 Once you have entered your reason for rejecting the timesheet, you will be returned to the previous screen.
 You must select Submit, for the rejection to be completed.

 The following notification will appear. You must select OK to complete the rejection process.
 If you want to stop the rejection process, select Cancel.

 After selecting OK, you will receive a window stating that the process was successful .
15. Assigning an Alternate Manager

Log on to e-TES:
 Click Assign Alternate.
 Select manager’s name.
 Click OK.
 Enter alternate Manager’s last and first names.
 Click Assign.
 Select Alternate Name.
 Click OK to verify the action.

16. Unlocking a Time Sheet

To unlock a time sheet, first of all Unapprove the time sheet (refer to the point.11) and then follow the below steps to
unlock it:
 Log on to e-TES.
 Select Unlock Time Sheet tab.
 To unlock everyone under a manager:
 Select the week of the time sheet.
 Select the manager of the people whose time sheets you wish to unlock.
 Press OK.
 To unlock a specific person under a manager:
 Select the manager’s name.
 Press Get Personnel.
 Select the week of the time sheet you wish to unlock.
 Select the person whose time sheet you wish to unlock.
 Press OK.

A manager can run a variety of reports


 Reports can be requested on demand (now) or scheduled
 Report destination must be complete,

17A. Audit Trail Report

Description of the Audit Trail Report

 The Audit Trail Report lists every transaction entered by an e-TES user.

How to run an Audit Trail Report

Note: If you have more than one role within e-TES (ex. you are a manager), you will be prompted to select the role
you wish to use to run the report. The following is a list of steps to take as a Manager or an Alternate Manager.

You can run the Audit Trail Report for yourself, for one person on a manager's approval list, or for all the people on
a manager's approval list.

To run an Audit Trail Report for yourself:


 Log on to e-TES.
 Select Reports.
 Select Audit Trail.
 Select Yourself.
 Select the Year, Month, and Day of the Week Ending Date.
 Press OK.

To run an Audit Trail Report for one person on a Manager's Approval List:
 Log on to e-TES.
 Select Reports.
 Select Audit Trail.
 Select Your Personnel.
 Select the name of the manager for whom the approval list report is being run.
 Press OK.
 Select the person you wish to run the report for, from the approval list.
 Select the Year, Month, and Day of the Week Ending Date.
 Press OK.

To run an Audit Trail Report for everyone on a Manager's Approval List:


 Log on to e-TES.
 Select Reports.
 Select Audit Trail.
 Select Your Personnel.
 Select the name of the manager the approval list report is being run for.
 Press OK.
 Press Select All.

17B. Time Detail Report (Manager or Alternate Manager)

Description of the Time Detail Report

 The Time Detail Report shows the manager the hours recorded for the requested week of each person on the
manager’s approval list.
The report features the following:

 Total hours for each day of the week and each line are provided.
 Once the worker’s time has been submitted or approved, "Submitted" or "Approved" is displayed at the top of
the report.

 The Time Detail Report is available for the prior week, current week, or future week.

 The future week Time Detail Report shows absences recorded in advance.

 Special Payments are listed by Activity Code.

Manager Administrator.

17C. Zero Hours Report (Manager or Alternate Manager)

Description of the Zero Hours for a Day Report

 The Zero Hours For a Day Report provides a list of everyone on a manager’s approval list with no hours
recorded for prior days in the current week.
How to run a Zero Hour Report

Note: If you have more than one role within e-TES (ex. you are a manager and an auditor), you will be prompted to
select the role for which you wish to use to run the report. The following is a list of steps to take as a Manager,
Alternate, or Manager Administrator.

 Log on to e-TES.
 Select Reports.

 Select Zero Hours.

 From the alternate list select a manager.

 Press OK.

 Displays information on prior time adjustment initiated by employee.

 Adjusted Time Detail Report


 Displays the final time sheet status next week
 Provide the option to select a date range to display the time sheet for multiple weeks at a time (up to 12 weeks)
 Missing Approvals Report
 Displays the missing time sheets of the resources for the previous weeks

 Work Location
 Displays previous 35 days of work location.
