SURFACE AREA OF SOLIDS

Surface area is the total area of the surface of a three-dimensional object (solid). It is the sum
of the areas of all faces (or surfaces) on a solid. For example: a cuboid has 6 rectangular faces.
To find the surface area of a cuboid, add the areas of all 6 faces.

VOLUME OF SOLIDS
Volume is the amount of space that an object/solid occupies.

Hemisphere (half of a sphere)

Volume of hemisphere= ½ x volume of sphere
