How To Replace Materials

· Using "Update Scene Materials from Library" function in 3DS Max Material
Editor.
1. Using "MaterialReplacerTool.mse"
MaterialsReplacerTool.mse can automatically batch replace 3DS Max files material in
the same folder.
1.2 Set mesh files(*.max) folder: The folder contains *.max file, it can be for any
renderer. Normally, it should be under MT_PM_V(X)_Mesh_Corona(Vray)\MT_Plant
Models_Vol(X)
Select material library(*.mat) file: Select material library file you want replaced to
currect selected 3DS Max files. Normally, it should be under MT_Plant_Models_Vol(X)\
MT_PM_V(X)_Material_Librarys
Save as folder: The folder for save replaced 3DS Max files. You can create a new folder
for this.
1.3 After set currect path and material library, then click " Replace Now ", this script will
open 3DS Max one by one and replace the materials with same name in selected
material library for total scene, after that it will save this scene with the same 3DS Max
files name to Save as folder.
2.2 Open material library file you want update to currect scene. You need change your
material editor to "Slate Material Editor".
2.3 Right click Material library title and select "Update Scene Materials from Library".
2.5 If you want update all materials at once, you can using Batch Export/Import script
from Jos Balcaen, you can download it here:

Just batch import all 3DS Max (*.max) files in one scene and update all materials at once,
then batch export them.
3.5 You can click "Using" drop-down list check supported renderer
