Call an Ambulance or Doctor.
Teaching Tips. People driving themselves to hospital have often been in accidents
and injured themselves and others. Paramedics are highly trained health professionals.
They bring modern emergency and resuscitation equipment to the patient and commence
lifesaving treatment at the scene as well as continuing this on the way to hospital.
1. You can dial the emergency number (911) free from any phone –
handset, public phone or mobile.
2. You can even call from a mobile phone that has been
disconnected or is out of range. In this case you must dial 911. DO
NOT send an SMS.
3. The first thing you hear when you call (911) is a short recorded message
saying you have dialed the emergency number. An operator will ask which
service you require – ambulance, police or fire.

Types of Crime
Burglary, Breaking and Entering: Going into another person's home or business with
force
Theft: Stealing

Vandalism: Damaging public or private property (for example with spray paint)
Types of Punishment
Traffic Ticket (speeding, parking): Leaves marks on driving record/involves paying a fine.
License Suspension: (drunk driving): Driving rights are removed for a certain period of
time.
Fine: (hunting out of season): Pay money as punishment for minor/petty crime.
House Arrest: (a young offender who is waiting to go to court): Remain in one's home for
a certain period of time.
Community Service: (a youth that steals a car for the first time): Do volunteer work such
as teaching children about crime or cleaning up garbage.
