In our daily communication, people communicate through not only speech, but also body
language. It plays a crucial role in meeting someone and cannot be overlooked. People can
identify a person’s emotion and communication pattern by analyzing his or her body
language, and can better interact with him or her. However, a lot of people have problems
with body language. One of the reasons for this is that they are nervous while speaking in
front of people. They may be lack of confidence and public speaking experience, so they fail
to recognize the information revealed by the body language of other speakers. Since body
language can help us better understand what the other speakers say and improve our own
public speaking skills, we should be more confident, communicate more with others, and use
the knowledge of body language to improve our communication skills.

It can be seen from the picture that two men are shaking hands with each other. What’s more,
they smile to each other and their hands are turned into forks. It reminds me of the talks over
dinner. As far as I’m concerned, talks over dinner have become one of the most special
Chinese traditions and customs when it comes to social contact. They make communication
more convenient and can construct a harmonious atmosphere. In a word, talks over dinner
plays an important role in our daily life. People may not communicate effectively with others,
especially those who are still strange to you, without talks over dinner.
