Description: Extra-Judicial Killings especially among criminology students in PMA. The victim
didn’t give him/her a chance to speak and defend himself/herself.

Description: ABS-CBN shut down was the best example of disregarding freedom of expression
or speech.
Bill of Rights: Natural Rights
Description: Suspect ex-cop Jonel Nuezca found guilty on the killing of Mother Sonya Gregorio
and her son Frank Gregorio. This crime was evidently showed how Nuezca violated the rights to
live of the mother and son victim.

IMUS CITY, Cavite -- A moviegoer was arrested after failing to stand up as the Philippine
National Anthem was being played at the City Mall Cinema here Thursday evening.
Senior Supt. William Segun, the Cavite police director, identified the offender as Ria Chua
Bautista, 28, food technologist and resident of Perpetual Village 7 in Barangay Mambog 5 in
Bacoor City.
Bautista was the lone offender based on video footage and screenshot during the Cavite
police’s simultaneous implementation of “Implan Bandila” across cinemas in the province.
Segun said their “Implan Bandila” is enforced in pursuit of the implementation of Republic Act
No. 8491, or the “Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines” on orders of Police Regional Office
4-A (Calabarzon) Director, Chief Supt. Edward Carranza.

MANILA, Philippines – Pop diva Madonna faces another controversy in the Asian leg of
her Rebel Heart concert, this time on the use of the Philippine flag during her performance in
Manila.
In an interview on dzBB on Friday, February 26, an official of the National Historical Commission
of the Philippines (NHCP) criticized Madonna for draping herself with the Philippine flag on
stage, claiming that she violated the law on proper flag handling.
NHCP Heraldry Section chief Teodoro Atienza said she violated Republic Act 8491, which
prohibited wearing the flag "in whole or in part as a costume or uniform."

A member of the National Filipino Barbers Association apologized after social media users
slammed him for using a resemblance of the Philippine flag as capes, violating the Flag and
Heraldic Code of the Philippines.
