V. Assessment

According to the client, it was revealed that she had been in contact with the offender
before the occurrence on January 6, 2021 and that the offender had requested to meet the
client on that day in a inconspicuous location. According to the allegations, the perpetrator
raped the victim with the aim to conduct sexual assault, and both force the persuasion were
used to carry out the offense.

The client was frightened as a result, which led her to hide in public since she felt
embarrassed about the experience during the early stage. At present, The client suppressed
the traumatic memory as her defense mechanisms which is directly associated with
psychological stress ( Sigmund freud, 1926) Although , the majority of rape victims do not
suffer chronic psychiatric disorders, a sizable portion of victims of rape and violent sexual
assault endure mental health problems (Kilpatrick et Al.1985: Mezey and taylor, 1988) Post
Traumatic stress disorder, depression, and phobic anxiety from stress are some of the
psychological effects of rape.

trauma victims more broadly. Given the client’s circumstances, stage of recovery and the
types and severity of the issues being treated, the client must get on going psychological
services for herself and her family as well as monitoring and support from friends and
