We are going to have a game today. I have here some pictures of materials that are
found at home. All you have to do is to give its name.

The teacher will present the objective of the lesson through ppt slides.

A Safer Home and School

For 10 minutes observe your house/school. Look at for the materials that can be useful,
harmful, or considered as waste.

Group 1 – draw 5 samples of materials that are useful and present it in the class.
Group 2 – draw 5 samples of materials that are harmful and present it in the class.
Group 3 - draw 5 samples of materials that are considered waste and present it in the
class.

PRACTICE Direction: Classify the different materials found below as useful or harmful. Write U if it is
a useful material and H if harmful.
