JOB DESCRIPTION:-

 FUNCTION :

 Supervises cargo handling work, maintenance and general labour duties. Operates
rig Crane and Forklift as required.

OTHER RESPONSIBLITIES:

 Supervises manual labour around the rig.

 Most duties involving general maintenance of the rig that would include scraping,
painting, and cleaning of equipment, etc.

 Assist in loading/back loading of materials to/from trucks.

 Assist crane operator in the handling of materials, tubulars and/or equipment as

well as in care and maintenance of Cranes & Forklifts.

 Assist mechanics, electricians in special projects.

 Relieve roughnecks on the drill floor.

 Assist in the mixing of mud and chemicals when needed.

 Assist in the care and maintenance of tubular goods using brushes, rabbits and
thread protectors.

 Assist in assembly, dismantling and lubrication of pumps, drilling tools, deck

machinery and other equipment as directed using hand tools.

 Makes up part of emergency crews performing duties as required by station bill or as

otherwise directed.

condition before use.
