Climate change is caused by both natural conditions and human activities such as burning fossil fuels, deforestation, and transportation. Vietnam has experienced climate change's negative impacts through more extreme weather events in recent years. The main human causes are electricity and heat production through fossil fuel combustion, industrial emissions from cement and steel production, deforestation which limits carbon absorption, and vehicle emissions. Climate change negatively affects both nature and humans by impacting crop production and spreading new diseases.

Hello guys, today I will talk about climate change and its causes
First, we need to understand the concept of climate change. According to research,
it is the change in climate and related components including oceans, lands, earth’ surface and increasing temperature, melting ice and rising sea level. Previously, climate change occurred due to the impact of natural condition, however recently, it occurs because of human activities. According to research experts, Vietnam has been experiencing climate change and this is considered one of the problems with the most negative impacts on the environment of our country. Following to the annual assessment of countries almost affected by extreme events, Vietnam ranks 5th in the global climate risk index and ranks 8th in the long term climate risk index. 2017 is considered a record year for natural disasters in Vietnam with more than 16 storms and historical floods. The average temperature in the North is 1 celcius degree, higher than the average temperature in previous year, So, what’s the reason? Firstly, the process of generating electricity and heating by burning fuels such as natural gas and coal causes a large amount of global emission. Secondly, the production of goods and industry generates emissions mainly the burning of fossil fuels to produce cement, iron, steel… Thirdly, the process of cutting down forest for agriculture or farming or other reasons causes emissions because trees absorb CO2, deforestation also limits inhibits the natural ability to keep them out of atmosphere. Vehicle using is also a cause of climate change because most cars and trucks run on fossil fuel. That makes transportation one of the main causes of green house effect and global warming. Climate change also has negative impacts not only nature but also on people. It affects crops and the change in food production. For human, climate change is the cause of new viruses and infectious diseases that seriously affect public mental health. In short, we need to join hands to protect the environment, not to litter indiscriminately, to limit the cutting of trees to prevent erosion. Furthermore, limiting the use of fossil fuel and build a healthy diet to protect ourselves and to protect Earth and minimize climate change.
