The elevator or elevator is an important part of a building that help people or things move faster from

floor to floor other. Elevator uses limit for floor indication. Development multi-storey buildings and malls
are increasing and elevators are part of the integral part of the transportation medium in the
infrastructure. With apply smart elevator project based on plc we can minimize risk accidents caused
due to rope breaking, traffic efficiency and speed the lift can also be upgraded. PLC controlled system
plays important role in a stable and important condition. Project This PLC-based smart elevator control
system uses a weight sensor (load sensors), on each floor this sensor senses the load on the lift. When
lift reach the required floor and the load capacity of the lift has reached the limit maximum, then the
elevator will move to the next command without stopping on the floor that. After the elevator doors are
closed and the elevator cabin is detected to be empty, the lights the cabin indicator will turn off,
otherwise the cabin indicator light will stay light up. This smart elevator control system using PLC is
simulated using CX-Programmer software.
