SHOPPING HABITS

Hi everyone and teacher, welcome to the project of group

3. The project will be performed by three members of
group 3. Our three team members are Đoàn Ngọc Tuấn,
Đặng Chí Tường and Lê Anh Duy. And today, we’re
going to talk about shopping habits. Shopping is an
essential exigency in our life. Shopping can help us feel
happy and relaxed. Everyone has different shopping
habits depending on personality. And the following will
be the conversation of 3 young boys about shopping
habits and preferences in daily life.
Duy: Hi Tuấn and Tường, where are you going?
Tuấn: We are on the way to the mall. We need to buy
something.
Duy: Oh, fortunately. I’m going there, too. Let’s go
together. Ohh, while going there, Can I ask you some
questions to kill time?
Tuấn: Of course. It sounds interesting.
Duy: What is your favorite day for shopping?
Tuấn: I usually go shopping in my freetime and holidays.
Duy: How about you, Tường?
Tường: I’m like Tuấn, and sometimes I also shop on the
weekend or after getting my salary. It’s so fun and
comfortable.
Duy: That’s right. Shopping helps us to reduce stress after
hours of studying or working hard. So how about
shopping in High Street shops and online? Do you enjoy
it?
Tuấn: Yeah, I love shopping in High Street shops because
when I shop there, I can choose the designs suitable for
me. Besides, I also know the quality of the product and
receive the advice of the sales staff.
Duy: And you, Tường? What do you think about
shopping online?
Tường: I think that it’s so fast and convenient especially
during the epidemic situation. We don’t have to stand in
queues in cash counters to pay for the products that have
been purchased. We can shop from our home or work
place and do not have to spend time traveling or waiting
in long lines to buy and pay.
Duy: Do you feel any inconveniences when shopping like
that?
Tuấn: Yes. Besides the advantages, there are still many
issues that I’m not satisfied.Shops in the High Street are
so crowded and noisy, it leads to huddling and creating
discomfort. Especially on holidays, I have to wait in long
lines to buy things and pay. I just don’t like that. And you,
Tường?
Tường: I realize that shopping online has some
inconveniences such as online fraud, the goods are broken
or poorly delivered on time, it creates extreme annoyance
for buyers.
Duy: Yeah, I think so. So what do you usually spend the
most money on?
Tường: Hmm… I usually spend money buying clothes,
especially sneakers, because I’m a sneaker fan. At home, I
have a lot of sneakers from different brands such as Nike,
Adidas, Vans…
Tuấn: I usually use money to buy technology items like
watches, headphones, and controllers for games. I also
spend money on my personal belongings or somethings
such as books, study supplies…
Duy: Wow, that sounds great. Do you have a discount
card for any shop? It can help you to reduce costs for
those.
Tuấn: Yes. I also saved a lot of money thanks to the
discount card. Shops always create goodwills for buyers.
Tường: Especially shopping online. It has many
promotions. Many online shops have given buyers many
vouchers, discount cards such as Shopee, Tiki, Lazada,
etc. So, we can save money on purchases.
Duy: Oh, here there are. It’s time to shop. Thanks for your
great answers. I really want to ask some more but we
don’t have time, so I guess I’ll leave it for next time. I
hope you have a great time shopping.
Tuấn: Thank you so much. You too. Goodbye
Duy: Yeah. See you later.

Through the conservation, we realize that each person has

different shopping habits. And they know how to shop to
save as much as possible. Everyone can shop, but we need
to know how to shop appropriately to save money and
avoid buying without using.
Our group presentation is finished. Thank everyone for
listening.
