What is the aim of the paper?
By investigating sinkhole attacks in WSN to find out the detection and mitigation
process.
The research method used in the study
The research method used in the study is Castalia Simulator. It is based on the
OMNeT++ platform and used by researchers and developers to test their
distributed algorithms and/or protocols.

The simulation has been done by calculating using t-distribution and standard error
contains the true values around 95 percent of the time.
In the simulation, the nodes are scattered in a square field of size 50 × 50 m2 in
two scenarios which are attack-free networks and under sinkhole attacks.
