Project Name: Globalnet Migration

Description:
The object of this project is to create ETL packages for Migrating the Entire Data from old application related
database schema’s to new application database as per new requirements and enhancements given by the client.
The global net application holds the Discover bank users credit cards financial information, So we re-writed the
application and migrated the completed data of old application to new application.

My Role:
● To prepare the complex ETL packages for migration of data to one schema to another schema.
● Designed the database table architecture for the complete application using ER diagrams and
provided the DDL scripts.
● Migration of existing UNIX batch scripts which we used for the loading the data from different
applications into database tables through procs.
● Providing queries for java API’s development.
● Creating Procedures, Functions using Cursors, anonymous block and SQL sub queries.
● Using Oracle Procedures, Functions, Cursors and anonymous block to provide the reports
to business users and during any enhancement in the application.

details are Migrated to Tuscany Application accordingly as this application is the target application which
holds the data for the FOX group .

My Role:

● To prepare the complex ETL packages for migration of data to one schema to another schema.
● Using Oracle Procedures, Functions, Cursors and anonymous block to provide the reports
to business users and during any enhancement in the application.
● Working with SQL*Plus, SQL Loader and also indulge in performance tuning of Oracle code.
 ● Provide the Root Cause Analysis and fix for the failed reports.
