Academic Progress

Each student will be issued a Diploma upon completion of the course stating number of hours (480) completed,
and School requirements met. Each student will be graded on: (1) Written Tests. (2) Grooming Ability and
Progress and (3) Attitude. Each area of study will encompass one third of the grade and a 75% average grade per
week for twelve weeks is required to graduate.

Weekly tests will be given and continuous evaluation and counseling sessions will occur every four weeks, four
weeks shall constitute a grading period. A written objection must be submitted to the instructor within one
week of any disputed grades. Additional class time will be provided for any student (up to two weeks) who feels
they need the extra time to improve their finishing skills.

The failure to maintain a 75% average grade per week for any four weeks (a "grading period") will constitute
grounds for termination of the student for lack of satisfactory academic progress. A student whose average
grade per week for a grading period is less than 60% will be terminated at the end of the grading period.

Any student terminated for lack of satisfactory academic progress may apply for readmission to the school no
sooner than four weeks following termination, and must meet all the School's existing entrance requirements
for re-admission.

The minimum completion time for the course is three (3) months and the maximum is 3.5 months. Any student
failing to complete the program in 3.5 months will be dismissed. Dismissal students must wait at least one
grading period before re-applying for admission to the School.

Students may appeal any decision on unsatisfactory academic progress to the Director.

Grading: Each of the three areas, Written Tests, Grooming Performance, and Attitude, are graded individually
and combined for total grade.
A 94 - 100%
B 88 - 93%
C 82 - 87%
D 75 - 81% F Less than 74%

Attendance Policy

Each student will be allowed 5 sick days, with a Doctor's excuse. Sick days must be made up. Students will be
granted only one Leave of Absence (LOA) for their entire program of study. The student must request the LOA in
writing in advance. During a LOA, the student will not be marked absent, as this is not scheduled time. Leaves of
absence may be granted to the student for reasonable purposes acceptable to the School Director but may not
exceed the lesser of 30 school days or 60 calendar days. The School shall maintain attendance records that show
the dates for which the LOA was granted with a written statement signed by both the School Director and the
student indicating why the LOA was granted. If the student fails to return from the LOA, the student will be
automatically terminated on the first day immediately following the end of the LOA, and a refund shall be totally
consummated within 60 days thereafter. The School shall maintain a master record of attendance for each
student which clearly indicates the number of scheduled hours each day, and the hours of absence. A student
must attend 12 weeks, five days per week or 480 hours.

All students must attend Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The student is allowed a 30 minute
lunch break If a student is unable to come to class, they must call in before 8:00 AM. An absence of 9
consecutive days (or 72 hours, which is 15% of the full term hours) without notification, will be considered cause
for termination. Class begins promptly at 8:00 AM. Tardiness will be unacceptable behavior. Time will be
calculated by the quarter hour and reflect on the 480 hours.

Absence shall be charged for a full day when the student attends none of the scheduled classes on that day. A
partial day of absence, measured in quarter hours, shall be charged for any period of absence during or at the
end of the day. School Holidays shall not be considered as days of absence. Any student whose absences met or
exceed the following limits prior to the final quarter of the student's course will be terminated upon the
happening of the following?

(1) Absence of more than 5 consecutive School days.

(2) Absences of more than 15% of the 480 total hours in the program. Absences may not be removed by makeup
work.
