Book Day is Essential

The celebration of Book Day is an anticipated event and a memorable occasion to encourage the habit
of reading and rekindle the desire for learning among students and everyone at large. It may have been
a celebration that underlines the importance of books as an anchor for knowledge and power, but it is

excitement while emphasizing the vitality of education.

As we immersed ourselves in a universe of literary work and evocative art through pages in the
celebration of the university's book day, it is inevitable to reach the realization that reading ignites the
soul for learning and equips the mind with creativity one can imagine. It is a beneficial habit that
students must integrate into their craft to achieve greater possibilities and think outside boundaries.

There are a few yet profound conclusions that marked the observance of book day among students. As
we walk in an era where digital technology is essential and necessary, the internet has opened ways for
people to learn about things and navigate the world through screens. With the intervention of the
internet for learning, it is safe to say that most students and learners overlook the traditional and even
modern concept of books. As everyone can access social media, this also allows students to be
immersed with mountainous information and content like video games which proved to have minimal
benefits for learning. In other words, learners disregard the opportunity to read actual books due to
efficiency brought by the internet. With more people swarming on computer shops than libraries, It
overlooks the experience and available knowledge that can be extracted from books that are absent on
computers. It also declines the innate desire of most students to be fond of reading.

Book Day is not just an event for encouragement and remembrance but is also an opportunity to
highlight the importance of reading and build connections among peers. As we positioned ourselves into
a friendly competition, I get to realize the essence of comradeship and communication in reaching a
certain objective. It is a collective effort that must transpire among linking minds to propagate better
ideas and concepts. Apart from the important observation of book day on the surface, I also turned
more appreciation to different books, be it on academic works or crafts of fiction.

As each section is assigned to uphold a theme for the event, we came up with Sherlock Holmes for our
team. Learning about the literary profile of the novel and the centralizing themes catapulted in the
work, I can say Sherlock Holmes perfectly arrows the definition of articulation, cunningness, and
boldness that must also be observed in a reader. Considering the significance of Book Day, it is also
apparent that this occasion extends the opportunity to learn more things that are related to our subjects
like practical reading and creative writing. It means that the ideas that we have learned from the event
are the same lessons that we can adapt to our studies. Overall, Book Day exceptionally underlines the
influence of reading while propelling the act of enjoying and learning simultaneously.
