    IMPACTS OF SOCIAL MEDIA ON ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE AND PHYSICAL


    HEALTH OF THE STEM STUDENTS IN MAGSAYSAY MEMORIAL
    COLLEGE OF ZAMBALES, INCORPORATED

    Conceptual Framework
    The researchers used the Independent Variable-Dependent Variables method in this
    study. The independent variable box is used to represent the social media. Social media affects
    academic performance and physical health of the STEM students. The dependent variables box
    used to represent the academic performance and physical health of the STEM students.
    Academic performance is measured by students’ general weighted average during the First
    Semester School Year 2022-2023. Physical health is measured by the students’ Body Mass Index
    (BMI) and if they have or do not have disease/s or illness/es.
