Meet Zanya Umpierre, a.k.a ZÜM, an Afro-centric Puerto Rican Disc Jockey from
Virginia that has worked tirelessly to become a recognizable talent among the ever-
evolving and highly competitive Los Angeles night scene. Whether comprising
exceedingly posh and progressive elements into her repertoire, or simply scratching
the chillest of Sundaze Vibes, she is dedicated to pleasing her audience. Having
started DJing in New York, ZÜM is actively blossoming into a household name as her
current accomplishments have landed her the opportunity to perform at more
prestigious venues and events. Some of these events include Combs Fest (Diddy’s
event) for Coachella, Tyson Ranch Lauch Party (Mike Tyson), and Grammy’s official
After Party. She also was the first female to make it to the finals of Master of
the Mix.
