A warforged who woke up in an abandoned

laboratory with a magical illusory mask.
The warforged didn't know anything before
waking up in the lab. All they knew was to look

headed toward the nearest city, where they
stayed in a library, trying to find answers to
their origins. A librarian become fond of them,
thinking they were a homeless young woman.
When the warforged mentioned that they
didn't really have a name, the librarian
decided to name them Serena (and the
pronoun she/her, to clarify).
Serena read all she could, but some patrons
started complaining. The city guard was
called and tried to forcibly remove her. That
was a mistake. It took at least two whole

squads to restrain her.
Serena was kept at the guard barracks for a
time being so she wouldn't bother anyone.
One guard captain decided to give her a
chance at soldiery. It turns out, Serena knew
how to fight quite well, and even showed
partiality to polearms. During a training
session, Serena said to herself "INITIATING
OVERDRIVE",and flew into a zealous rage.
The guard captain was astounded by this, but
suggested more "command phrases" to make
her rage activation more subtle.
After a few more months of training with
guards, the captain relieved her and told her
to find information on herself.
Serena now roams the land in search of her
origin. When the going gets tough, she can
fight with great aggression.
