Valmet Wash Filter Hood

The Valmet wash filter hoods are


designed to economically and
efficiently collect spray and chemical
vapors for pulp wash filters.

Design
The hoods are manufactured in glass-fiber reinforced
plastic (FRP) in standard sections to a maximum
width of 2.5 meters. Closed hoods, easily fitted to
individual drums, are available for all wash filters.

The wash filter hood is light weighted which simplifies
transportation and installation, and durable and strong
for extended service life. Inspection hatches facilitate
easy inspection, maintenance and cleaning.

The hood is made of 6 mm thick reinforced plastic and a varying


number of 12 mm thick flanges.

The hood is divided lengthwise in sections with flanges in


between. A section consists of 2 parts, each part with one hatch.
