Prepared activities for the following classes:

*PATHFIT 2- EXERCISED-BASED FITNESS ACTIVITIES

(Requirements: yoga mat, notebook, PE uniform on or before April 11)

 BCAED 1-C
 BCAED 1-F
 BSED ENGLISH 1-C
 BSED FIL 1-E

ACTIVITIES:

NUMBER 1:

1. What is warm -up, conditioning and cooling down exercises? Give examples each.
2. What is the importance of warm-up?
3. What is FITT Principles and its importance?
4. What are the types of exercise?

NUMBER 2:

1. Prepare atleast 3-5 minutes dancexercise with the warm -up, conditioning, and cool down as
one. (everyone must prepare individually so everytime we meet I will pick one to lead the
dancexercise first before we proceed to our daily activities)

NUMBER 3:

TYPES OF EXERCISE
1. Strength training
2. Aerobic Training
3. Balance and Stability Training
4. Coordination and Agility Training
5. Flexibility and Mobility Training

Group yourselves into 5. 1st group will be the group 1 and so and so fort. Each group will give atleast 5
sample activities in their assigned training. Ex. Group 1 Strength training -planking, lifting etc. You will
design an exercise program for your classmates and you will be the one to facilitate, same thing will be
done in the succeeding groups like group 2 will facilitate the aerobic exercise training while the other
group is facilitating the rest of the 4 groups will perform the said activity. Make sure to wear proper PE
attire while performing.

Performance will be on the second week of April depending on your scheduled classes.

*DANCE 1: FOUNDATIONS OF DANCE

(Requirements: notebook, PE uniform on or before April 11)

BCAED 1-B

Activity #1:

Answer the following:

1. What is Dance?
2. Give the 5 Elements of Dance.

#2:

Group yourselves into 5. Each group will report about each element assigned to them:

Groups:

1. Body
2. Action
3. Space
4. Time
5. Energy

First thing to do is to report in front of the class the meaning of the element assigned to them
followed by dance presentation. Ex. Group 1 is body. What is body? Its significance to dance?
etc., After, dance performance by the group members. Make sure to have your music and
speaker of course. Same thing to do by the 4 succeeding groups. 3-5 minutes presentation.

Performance will be on the second week of April depending on your scheduled classes.

*DANCE 4: TEACHING DANCE

(Requirements: notebook, PE uniform on or before April 11)

BCAED 3-A

ESSAY:

1. What is dance?
2. Give the elements of dance.
3. Give the different genres of dance.
4. What is it called when you teach dance and how can you be a good dance teacher?
5. What is the significance of teaching dance to children and teenagers?

Submission will be on the second week of April depending on your scheduled classes.

I will also send readings about the subject. Be ready for discussion and graded recitation.
