• List the proposed market offerings.
• Craft a business title.

Project title is the most prominent element of proposal title page. It should capture the main goal,
scope, and value of the project in a few words. Avoid vague or generic terms, and use keywords

WRITING A CATCHY BUSINESS TITLE PROPOSAL

A catchy title for a business proposal can make a big difference in attracting the attention of
potential clients, investors, or business partners. It can also help the business stand out from the
competition and convey its unique value proposition.

But to write a catchy title that summarizes a proposal and hooks the audience? Here are some
tips to help craft a good title for a business proposal.

Description of a Business Idea

One business idea is based on three questions:

1. Which business you want to start?
2. What you will sell?
3. How you will sell those products or services?

For example, the business idea is starting a retail store that will sell the best toys in the Philippines
and will provide free shipping for all kids.

Current Market

Take some considerations about the market that will be covered with this business idea. There is
no need to include big analysis to complete this field. Simply answer some questions about the
target market and main competitors related to the business idea that is being described. The
purpose of this field is to encourage entrepreneur to think about some basic directions need to
follow in the future about market research if this business idea is being chosen.

✓ What are the market needs and preferences?

✓ How can your proposal solve their problems or offer them benefits?
✓ What kind of language and tone do they respond to?

Knowing the target market will help tailor the business title to their interests and expectations.

Possibilities of Realization

Think about the possibilities of realization of a business idea that will be part of the business idea
portfolio. As entrepreneur, one can have business ideas that have low possibilities to start
because of a higher need of finances required for a startup process. Do not fill with great
possibilities if it cannot start that business in some shorter period of time.

The possibilities could be: high, medium and low.

✓ Startup capital requirement
✓ Availability of raw materials or ingredients
✓ Tools and Equipment
✓ Manpower and skills

Clear and Concise

A catchy title does not mean a vague or confusing one. Your title should clearly communicate
what your proposal is about and what value it offers. Avoid jargon, acronyms, or technical terms
that your audience may not understand. Also, avoid unnecessary words, filler words, or modifiers
that do not add any meaning or impact. Aim for a title that is short, simple, and direct.

Specific and Unique

A catchy title should also differentiate your proposal from others in your field or niche. It should
highlight your unique selling point, your competitive advantage, or your innovative approach.
Avoid generic or cliché titles that do not capture your proposal's essence or uniqueness. Instead,
use specific and descriptive words that showcase your expertise, experience, or results.
