TO NOTIFICATION NO.12/2022, DATED: 30/09/2022

DIRECT RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF ASSISTANT MOTOR VEHICLE INSPECTOR

IN A.P. TRANSPORT SUBORDINATE SERVICE
(GENERAL / LIMITED RECRUITMENT)

1) The Commission has issued the Notification No.12/2022, on 30/09/2022 for

recruitment to the post of Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector in A.P. Transport Subordinate
Service with the medium of Examination as English only. Commission has now reviewed
the medium examination and decided to conduct the said examination in a bilingual
manner both in English and Telugu medium for Paper-I i.e., General Studies & Mental
Ability. However the Subject question paper will continue to be in English medium only.

2) Accordingly, the General Studies & Mental Ability question paper will be set in
English and translated into Telugu version. The English version will be considered as the
authentic version for valuation purpose.

3) Keeping in view, Commission is hereby issues the Supplemental Notification

No.08/2023 to the Notification No.12/2022. The conditions mentioned in the Main
Notification No.12/2022, dt: 30.09.2022 is applicable for this Supplemental Notification.
No change in the conditions of Main Notification except medium of examination.
Please refer the Main Notification for conditions with regard to Eligibility, Age,
Qualification, Number of vacancies, Scheme and Syllabus, Service Rules, other
conditions, etc. The candidate should possess the prescribed academic qualification as
on the date of Main notification. The date of Main notification i.e., 30/09/2022 shall be
the crucial date for calculating the experience including the practical experience, etc.
Physically Handicapped candidates are not eligible for this post as per G.O.Ms.No.04,
Transport, Roads & Buildings (TRP-I) Department dt. 22/03/2021.

4) Hence, applications are invited through online from eligible candidates for the post
of Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector in A.P. Transport Subordinate Service for a total of 17
(15 Fresh + 2 Carry forwarded) vacancies in the scale of pay of Rs.31,460 – 84,970 (RPS -
2022 : 48,440 – 1,37,220) from candidates within the age group of 21 - 36 years as on
01.07.2022. The candidates who have already applied to Notification No.12/2022, dt:
30.09.2022, need not apply again.

5) The candidate shall apply online through Commission’s Website The applications
can be submitted from 21/08/2023 to 31/08/2023 (Note: 30/08/2023 is the last date for
payment of fee up to 11:59 mid night).

6) The applicant who desires to apply for the above post shall login the Commission’s
Website, with his/her registered OTPR number. In case, the candidate is applying for the
first time to the posts notified by A.P.P.S.C. he/she shall register his/her bio-data
particulars through One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the Commission’s Website.
Once applicant registers his/her particulars, a user ID is generated and sent to his/her
registered mobile number and email ID.

7) The selection to the post shall be on the basis of Written Examination in Computer
Based Recruitment Test mode conducted by the Commission. The Dates of Written
Examination will be announced separately.

8) The candidates are required to visit the Commission’s website regularly to keep
themselves updated about dates of written examinations are to be held. The
examination would be in objective type and questions are to be answered on computer
system.

9) The applicant is required to visit the Commission’s website regularly to keep himself
/herself updated until completion of the recruitment process. The Commission’s website
information is final for all correspondence. No individual correspondence by any means
will be entertained under any circumstances.

10) HALL TICKETS for the written Examination will be hosted on Commission’s website for
downloading. Instructions would be given through the website regarding downloading
of Hall Tickets.

11) All desirous and eligible candidates shall apply online after satisfying themselves as
per the terms and conditions of Main Notification, dt: 30.09.2022. Any application sent
through any mode other than the prescribed online mode will not be entertained under
any circumstances. Submission of application form by the candidate is construed as he
/ she read the Main Notification and shall abide by the terms and conditions laid down
there under.

12) The decision of the Commission in all aspects and all respects pertaining to the
application and its acceptance or rejection as the case may be, conduct of
examination and at all consequent stages culminating in the selection or otherwise of
any candidate shall be final in all respects and binding on all concerned, under the
powers vested with it under Article 315 and 320 of the Constitution of India. Commission
also reserves its right to alter and modify the terms and conditions laid down in the
notification for conducting the various stages up to selection or withdraw the notification
at any time duly intimating details thereof to all concerned, as warranted by any
unforeseen circumstances arising during the course of this process, or as deemed
necessary by the Commission at any stage.
