2 - Career Services Registration Process Details 2025
* Pathway: UMS Navigation > Placement Services > Placement Policy Registration
This step is mandatory for every student eligible for placement registration. Pathway
for Student Registration:
Process Step-1 will be allowed only to students who will have current minimum
CGPA of 5.5 (or equivalent, for batches admitted prior 2017) and minimum current
CGPA of 5 (or equivalent, for admission batches 2017 onwards).
In this step, student will be asked for his consent to enrol into Career Services
Support from university.
Students seeking university support for Job Placement or Higher studies preparation
or Entrepreneurship preparation, shall select “YES” against Accept Policy option.
Students interested to appear for university facilitated campus recruitment drives for
placement/internship or other activities, must select “JOB PLACEMENT” option and
then select their appropriate program of highest degree with which the student will be
graduating in 2025.
Students NOT interested to seek university support for Job Placement / Higher Studies
/ Entrepreneurship can select “NO” against Accept Policy option and mention
appropriate reasons for the same.
The registration process for the students selecting “NO” option will be completed here
itself. Students choosing Job Placement / Higher studies / Entrepreneurship support
will be routed to Process Step-2.
This step is mandatory only for those students who give the consent as YES to register
for career services during Process Step-1.
Alternate Pathway for registration Process Step-2: UMS Navigation > Placement
Services > Placement Portal > Placement Process-2 Registration.
In this step student will be required to update his/her profile and click on SUBMIT
button after TICK-marking all details as CORRECT against given check boxes.
After submitting profile update, the students will be required to make PEP Fee
payment online as it will be guided by the interface.
PEP Fee shall be paid online through Placement Registration interface itself.
Students will have a choice to make “full” PEP fee payment at this step or “part”
payment of PEP Fee to complete registration process. Students making part-payment
will be required to pay balance PEP fee within timelines already conveyed through
UMS.
Students will not be allowed to avail Career Services without preparedness support
activities i.e., PEP activities. without paying the PEP test fees.
