V. MECHANICAL INSPECTION

1. The key is tight fit when inserted to the shaft key way.
2. The drive motor was aligned with the driven load.
3. The mounting bolts were tight.

WORKS DONE

Mechanical Works:
1. Removal and dismantling of Crusher No. 4 motor.
2. Cleaning, inspection of parts and accessories.
3. Measuring and checking of Bearing Housing and Shaft Journal clearances.
4. Cleaning and heating of stator and rotor and applying red insulating varnish.
5. Assembling of the motor.
6. Install drive belts and aligning of drive motor to its driven load.

Electrical Works:
7. Conduct electrical testing of stator and rotor such as, Insulation Resistance and Polarization
Index (P.I.) tests.
8. Witness test run without load. (Witness by PMSC Maintenance Personnel)
