SCENARIO 1

PAGASA weather update as of December 23, 5:00AM:

As of 3AM, December 23, 20XX, Tropical Storm “SONIYU” enters PAR and expected to
make landfall over the province of Z between December 24 morning until morning of
December 25.

Maximum winds of 55kph near the center and gustiness up to 70kph, forecast to move
Northwest at 20kph

Barangay X experiencing intermittent heavy rains accompanied with strong winds.

Activities conducted by Barangay X:

• Activate Emergency Operation Center

• Monitor and issued weather updates to BLGU

• Conduct PDRA Meeting

• Issued advisory re No Sailing Policy

• Issued memorandum to high risk barangay/purok to conduct pre-emptive


evacuation

Activities conducted by Purok C: Bandilyo

Activities conducted by Purok A and B: conducted Bandilyo and Pre-emptive


evacuation.
SCENARIO 2
As of December 23, 10:00 in the morning, there were 112 families or 560
individuals/persons evacuated at Purok A Evacuation Center. Purok B also evacuated
300 families at Purok B Evacuation Center. While Purok C just started its pre-emptive
evacuation with no available data as to the number of families evacuated, however,
posted in social media (FB Page) that there were 5 individuals stayed at Purok C
Evacuation Center.

There were also reports received by Barangay X that 1 house was totally destroyed by
uprooted coconut tree at Purok A.

Barangay X experiencing intermittent heavy rains accompanied with strong winds.

Other activities conducted by Barangay X:

• Conduct monitoring to high risk areas for flood, landslide and storm surge.

• Continuous monitoring to high risk puroks.

• Local responders on standby at Emergency Operation Center 24/7


SCENARIO 3
In the evening of December 23, Barangay X experiencing heavy rains accompanied by
strong winds. Water from X River start to rise into yellow level that causes flooding to
low-lying areas of Purok A, B and C. There were reports coming from 3 puroks as to the
updated number of families affected and evacuated.

There were also report coming from Purok A that Purok A Bridge is not passable to light
vehicles due to flood.

Barangay X conducted field validation to the affected and evacuated families of 3


puroks. Also, prepositioned Food and Non-food Items ready for augmentation as the
need arises.
SCENARIO 4
In the afternoon of December 24, Tropical Storm “SONIYU” makes it landfall over Z
province. Purok C requested BDRRMC-EOC of Barangay X to conduct rescue
operation to the trapped 3 individuals along X River. Immediately, BDRRMO-EOC of
Barangay X deploys responders to conduct rescue operation at Purok C along X River.
Also, Purok B sent report to BDRRMC-EOC of Barangay X that there was 1 Senior
Citizen drowned with personal information, as follows:

Status: Missing

Meanwhile, Purok A Bridge is not passable to any types of vehicles. Electric power of 3
Puroks totally black-out. Purok A Water System is not available due to damaged
pipelines.
SCENARIO 5
In the morning of December 25, the LDRRMC conducted RDANA Meeting. RDANA
Team was deployed in the afternoon of the same day to conduct assessment. As per
outcome of RDANA Report, there were damages assessed. 10 houses totally damaged
and 21 houses partially damaged in Purok A with a total estimated cost of damage
amounting to PhP74,000.00. 3 houses totally damaged and 14 houses partially
damaged in Purok B with a total estimated cost of damage amounting to PhP
56,000.00. Purok C has 5 houses totally damaged, 4 houses partially damaged with a
total estimated cost of damage amounting to PhP50,000.00.

There were also damaged government building/facilities, such as, roofing of barangay
hall, barangay health station, senior citizens’ building and 1 classroom (Purok C
Elementary School) of Purok C.

Water source in Purok A still interrupted due to damaged pipelines. There were still
power interruptions in 3 puroks due to damaged posts amounting (estimated) to
PhP500,000.00. Purok A Bridge still not passable due to scouring of bridge approach
with estimated cost of damage amounting to PhP750,000.00.

In agriculture sectors, there were 30 affected farmers with a total damaged area of 50
hectares of ricefields. 3 carabaos died amounting to PhP60,000.00. Also, there were 2
hectares fishponds washed-out by flood water with a total estimated cost of damage
amounting to PhP1,000,000.00.

There were reported 5 injured individuals in Purok A and 3 in Purok C with its personal
information below.

Purok A served food packs (6kls rice, 3tins corned beef, 3tins sardines, 3tins beef loaf,
3pcs noodles) and 6ltrs mineral water in every families inside evacuation center and
home-based evacuees. While Purok A and B requested the Barangay X for
augmentation of food packs and water.
