Olympic Games
The Olympic Games are the largest multidisciplinary international
sporting event in which athletes from various parts of the world
participate. The Olympic Games are considered the main competition in
the sports world, with more than two hundred participating nations. It is
organized every four years. It is one of the most sporting eventstelevised
and world famous.This sporting event has been interrupted on very few
occasions. 91 countries participate that will compete to achieve Olympic
glory in their specialty. This year it was held in TOKYO (Japan), but due
to the "coronavirus" it has been postponed until next year.In the Olympic

PANAMERICAN GAMES
Panamerican Games. They are a continental version of the Olympic Games, including
both the sports of the Olympic Program and others suggested by the organization of
the competition and approved by PASO. Its objective is to promote unity among
peoples, carry a message of peace and demonstrate the physical and athletic
preparation of the participants.The Lima 2019 Pan American Games were held between
July 26 and August 11, 2019 in Lima (Peru). 6,680 athletes from 41 countries in the
Americas participated in 420 events and 39 sports.This is the first (and only time so far)
that Peru has organized the Pan American Games, as well as the largest sporting event
ever organized by the country, opening the doors to hold more events of this type, it is
also the seventh time in South America.The opening ceremony took place on July 26 at
the National Stadium of Peru, as well as the closing ceremony on August 11. The Games
were declared open by Peruvian President Martín Vizcarra. The official mascot was
Milco, named after the Cuchimilcos, ancient clay figurines from the Chancay Culture.
Lima 2019 was acclaimed by the specialized press and the general public, especially in
its infrastructure, effort and in the opening and closing ceremonies.The motto was Let's
