Part 2 – Topic-Based Questions 4 minutes

Now, I’d like to ask you some questions about topics from class.

 Follow the question sets in order. Each student gets one set of questions.
 In each set, ask the questions in order, as many as time will allow.
 Once all sets have been used, start from the first set again.

Part 3 – Describing a Picture 2 minutes

For the next part of the exam, I’m going to show you a picture. I’d like you to talk about it.

First, describe the picture – who and what you see, where they are. Tell what is happening in the
picture.

Make guesses about the people, activities and places in the picture.

Finally, give your opinion about the picture… (Do you like the picture? How does it make you feel?
Do you enjoy these activities?) You have about two minutes.

***If after 1 minute the student has only described the photo, prompt the student to guess about
the people/activities/place and to give an opinion.
