IMPORTANT NOTICE

NOTICE FOR OFFLINE ADMISSION COUNSELING TO PARA MEDICAL

COURSES-2023,
SESSION BEGINNING : 1st SEPTEMBER, 2023.

Counseling for admission in different Para Medical Courses conducted at Medical Colleges/Govt
Institutions/ Affiliated Institutions is to be held on and from August 17th, 2023 from 10.00
AM, at the office of the STATE MEDICAL FACULTY OF WEST BENGAL, 14-C, Beliaghata
Main Road,Kolkata-700085.The seats of various Para Medical Courses 2023, in Government
Medical Colleges/Non-Government Affiliated Institutions, will be published before starting of
counseling on the Faculty’s website.
All the vacant seats would be filled up from the PH/ST/SC/OBC-A/OBC-B / Combined
[General] Merit List as hoisted on the Website of the Faculty for admission to Para
Medical Courses-2023. The Merit listed candidates who have completed their Online
document verification and paid the required fee of Rs. 100.00, are eligible for
participation in the counseling.[The list of Eligible candidates has been published on
Faculty’s website] [keeping in mind that once admitted , there will be no allowance for changing the course
or institution, as specified in the Information Bulletin for Admission to Para Medical Courses 2023].

PROCEDURE FOR COUNSELING

Candidates will be called from Rank No 1 of the different [PH, ST, SC, OBC(A), OBC(B)
& General] Merit List for Counseling for Admission. [As per the Counseling Schedule
attached with this notice]

1. The above candidates or their authorised representatives who will be absent or

fail to respond immediately after announcing their rank at the time of counseling
will get the opportunity of counseling against available seats at the time of their
appearance but, must be before the closing time of the last day, i.e., August 30,
2023.

For the purpose of counseling, candidates are advised to bring the following
documents. The candidates shall invariably bring these documents for counseling :-

a. Candidates should mention name & contact number on the back side of
Demand draft.

b. Rank Card.

c. Online application form.

d. Counseling Fees Receipt.

Note: Candidates who have not been uploaded required documents during the
Online Document verification he/she must submitted required document(s) Xerox
copies with self attested at the time of counseling for Admission.

2. A candidate allotted a seat will have to deposit Rs. 20,000/- after allotment of
Seat at the time of Counseling by Cash/Demand Draft drawn in favour of
State Medical Faculty of West Bengal, payable at Kolkata, failing which his/her
seat will be cancelled. [Refer Notice No.-1349 F-4/2023 Dated on 10th July,2023 for revised
Admission Fees]

3. Those candidates, who are not in a position to appear for counseling in person,
may like to send their authorised representative with a letter of authority along
with all documents and fees, as in serial no. (1) above.

4. In the matter of allocation / admission of a candidate in a particular

course / Institute, the decision of the President, State Medical Faculty of
West Bengal shall be final and binding on the candidate.

5. Counseling will be closed immediately after all seats have been filled up,
or, the Combined Merit List is exhausted, whichever is earlier.

6. Hence All candidates are advised to visit and follow the available seats on the
Website https://www.smfwb.formflix.org on regularly on the period of
counseling.

7. During the period of undergoing Para Medical Course, study in any other
course is not allowed.

8. Mere Merit listing the candidates does not entitle them for any right or claim for
the admission to Para-Medical courses in 2023.

COUNSELLING WILL BE CLOSED IMMEDIATELY AFTER ALL SEATS HAVE

BEEN FILLED UP, OR, TILL THE COMBINED MERIT LIST IS EXHAUSTED,
WHICHEVER IS EARLIER.
