Do you think everyone should go to college?

Answer:

Okay, before that, what is the purpose of college?

Most of them answered, "yes, to get a good job, big salary, to be established."

On average, many answered like that.

The real purpose of college is to seek knowledge, change perspectives, learn to think
critically, and build relationships.

But most of those who go to college only think about how to get the highest GPA, pass
the thesis, even in a way that is not straight. All because of the wrong intention from
the start, the intention to get a good job is not wrong, but too ambitious for the
intention is wrong.

Without them knowing that the numbers they are fighting for are useless if they are
not balanced with skill and honesty. After all, there are many graduates who are
unemployed because they don't have skills in the field they are applying for, sometimes
companies will also test their honesty and skills, so it's useless to fight on the wrong
path to get high marks.

I feel sorry for children with economic limitations who try to apply to PTN but with no
results, because entering a PTN is indeed difficult, usually these children rely on the
SNMPTN route which only accepts a few students who actually meet the qualifications,
sometimes on luck. few interested in the chosen major. Children like this if they have
to take UTBK they have to study hard, because entering the private sector is
expensive, different from students whose family economy is in the upper middle class,
they can rent tutoring, get the best tutor, can get a grid that is very similar to the
questions being tested, all to be accepted at the PTN they desire,,, even through the
back lane, you understand what the back path is, right?

From here, I think everyone deserves to go to college, but those who only intend to
study for a mere formality so that getting rid of other students who really intend to go
to college is unfair. Many students now come to campus just to show off their lifestyle
and are forced to study at the request of their parents. Expensive college money is
wasted. Some even received tuition assistance from the government, such as bidikmisi,
instead it was made a rah-rah, it's better to give it to other students who need it
more, this is what I can't understand.

When will Indonesian education progress, if only the students are like that. It is the
young generation that our country really hopes for, come on, stop messing around.
