INTRODUCTION: The DSWD is conducting a survey to gather information on the clients’


experiences in securing a Public Solicitation Permit, a mandate given to the agency by
Presidential Decree 1564 or the “Solicitation Permit Law. ” The DSWD is authorized to
regulate the solicitation of donations or receiving of contributions for charitable or public welfare
purposes. Your participation in this study is voluntary and all information you share with us
will be treated with utmost confidentiality. The results of the survey will be used to
streamline and improve DSWD’s regulatory services.
