Objective:
To examine and verify the operation of a full wave bridges rectifier with and without
filtering and regulations.
Introduction
A regulated power supply can be defined as an embedded circuit; it converts
unregulated alternating current into a constant direct current. With the help of a
rectifier, it converts AC supply into DC. In this lab, bridge circuits will be stimulated as
values will be recorded accordingly.

Tasks and Discussion

The mechanism for this lab advised by Dr. Doyle was to read the lab manual
instructions carefully, stimulate the circuits in MULTISIM and record the values after
confirming with him. The pictures below show the values recorded from the circuit
simulations. The reason for doing this is the unavailability of transformers.
Conclusion
The objective was met, the experimental values from the MULTISIM matched the
values calculated from the pre-lab.
