Here are the tracks under the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Strand in Senior High
School, along with brief descriptions of each:
This track focuses on teaching students the fundamental principles of programming and software
development. Students learn how to create computer programs, develop applications, and understand
coding languages. They also gain problem-solving skills and logical thinking abilities essential for a career
in software development.
In this track, students are introduced to the world of animation and customer service. They learn
about creating digital animations, graphics, and multimedia content. Additionally, they acquire skills
related to customer interaction, communication, and problem-solving—vital for contact center jobs.
This track centers on the maintenance and troubleshooting of computer hardware and software
systems. Students acquire skills in assembling, diagnosing, and repairing computers and other electronic
devices. They learn how to ensure the proper functioning of computer systems and provide technical
support.
Focused on networking and systems management, this track teaches students about setting up and
maintaining computer networks. Students gain expertise in network configuration, security measures,
and administration. This track prepares them for roles in managing and securing network
infrastructures.
