ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
With the advent of International Nutri-Cereal Year 2023: an initiative
of UN worldwide, IIMTU has taken a step forward in organizing an
International Conference on “Agricultural Science and Technology for
Food Security and Sustainability”. The conference is designed to bring
together renowned academicians, honoured researchers from
distinguished institutions, industry leaders and practitioners as well as
doctoral students to exchange and share their experiences and research
results on all aspects of agriculture towards sustainable goals.
ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
IIMT University has been established to promote Indian culture and
research-based education to the new generation. Ever-changing
technology and the proliferation of new ideas pose new challenges to
universities around the world to develop and deliver innovative

ABOUT THE ORGANIZERS
School of Agricultural Sciences (SoAS), IIMT University, Meerut is
among the best agriculture sciences school in North India. SoAS IIMT
University, Meerut started in the year 2018 and is emerging as India’s
best agricultural school to peruse B.Sc. and M.Sc. Agriculture. It has
been showing an increasing trend in the number of admissions since
2018. SoAS is situated in a lush green sprawling location having
luxuriant & luscious vegetation which provides it a congenial niche. The
School has adopted an innovative and vibrant curriculum constituted
by India’s apex body: The Indian Council of Agricultural Research
(ICAR).
The curriculum is delivered using audio-visual teaching aids for
programmed learning, lectures, seminars, and interactive sessions.
Faculties are well acquainted with innovative pedagogy and curricular
knowledge which makes IIMT University one of the top 10 universities
