Unit: Transport Management System

In this exercise you will transport the objects in the InfoArea that you created in the
Overview unit. (CTS InfoArea Group##)

1-1 Collect your objects for transport.

1-1-1 In the Administrator Workbench go to transport connection.
1-1-2 Check that Collection mode is set to “Collect automatically” and
Grouping is set to “Only necessary objects”.
1-1-3 Locate your InfoCube SALESXX and drag and drop it into the
collected objects frame.
1-1-4 Check which objects are marked for transport. Why are some
objects marked while others are not?

1-2 Assign the objects to a transport request.

1-2-1 Press the transport button.
1-2-2 Assign your objects to development class ZCUS.
1-2-3 Create a transport request for your transport.
1-2-4 Check your transport request in transaction SE10.
1-2-5 Release your task then release your change request.
1-2-6 Go to transaction code STMS. Choose Overview > Imports.
1-2-7 Double click on the target system.
1-2-8 Find your change request and verify the objects in the request.
