The line graph illustrates the proportion of four Asian countries' population living in cities from 1970 to
2020, as well as predictions for the next 20 years.

Overall, it is evident that Philipines, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia wittnesses a upward trend, with
Malaysia is the most developed one.

During 1970 to 2020, among 4 countries, it can be seen that Malaysia was appeared to be the highest
one, with nearly 80% of total population. Contrast to it, Thailand seem to be the lowest one, with nearly
30% in 2020. In addition, during the given time, it is significant that Indonesia was from the lowest one
in 1970 to the second highest one in 2020, with nearly 70%, which surpassed Thailand and Philipines.

On the other hand, acording to the predictions for 2030 and 2040, it is clearly that the trend seem to be
remain stable compared to 2020, with a slightly rise. The highest will be still Philipines, then Indonesia,
Thailand will be the third, and the lowest one will be Indonesia, with more the 40%, which is a dramatic
rise for Thailand compaired to it was in 2020.

The line graph illustrates the proportion of the urban population in four Asian countries—Philippines,
Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia—from 1970 to 2020, along with predictions for the next 20 years.

Overall, it is evident that all four countries experienced an upward trend in urbanization, with
Malaysia being the most developed in terms of urban population.

From 1970 to 2020, Malaysia consistently had the highest proportion of urban population, reaching
nearly 80% of its total population. In contrast, Thailand had the lowest urban population percentage,
at approximately 30% in 2020. Notably, Indonesia transitioned from having the lowest urban
population in 1970 to the second-highest in 2020, surpassing both Thailand and the Philippines, with
a figure close to 70%.

According to the predictions for 2030 and 2040, the trend is expected to remain relatively stable
compared to 2020, with a slight increase. The Philippines will continue to have the highest urban
population, followed by Indonesia. Thailand is projected to rank third, while Malaysia will have the
lowest urban population among the four countries. Interestingly, Thailand is anticipated to
experience a significant rise in urban population, exceeding 40%, compared to its 2020 figures.
